This was such an incredibly great story ^_^
I loved it. I read the whole thing in one sitting, took me quite a while too XD
You kept me wondering for a lot of chapters about who would end up with who. I'm glad kaidoh and Inui really did get together though (although the Akutsu/Kaidoh parts were very hot too).
It was well written and engaging and I loved it to bits.

i love your story and must of read it 10000000000000000 times. i have to say at first i didn't know anybody except seigaku and fudomine. but now that i've seen the anime, i know everyone. i just have one small problem. kajimoto does not wear glasses. now i'll respect your decision of him wearing them, but everyone else was cannon so i thought maybe he wouldn't be or something. i don't know and don't care too much, your story is still one of my favs. PoT fics along with learning to fall and learing to land.

i love your story and i must of read it like five times now. i love the plot and the characters (even tho i didn't know have of them...). this story stills rock and i hope you make a sequel.

as for favorite pairing, i have ta go wit jiroh/fuji. i think any pairing with fuji syusuke in it is great.

p.s. how about a fuji/kaidoh fic? something new and interesting^_^V

There is no way I couldn't review this. This story was so *good*. I read non-stop from beginning to end. I stayed up an entire night because I could not stop reading! (I was seriously messed up the next day) I'm sad to see its ended, as I still crave more. (But then, that would have been truly cruel to Kaidoh, wouldn't it)

Certainly the most captivating elements of the story were Akutsu, Kaidoh, and Inui. Their interaction, thoughts, behavior and characterizations were so engaging, it actually made it hard to break and get through the scenes for the other characters and pairings. Usually for love triangles, I'm very sure and steadfast with which couple I like and am rooting for, and stick with that pairing from beginning to end. But this story, I honestly was never able to lean 100% towards Akutsu/Kaidoh or Inui/Kaidoh at any point while reading! It was hard and I kept leaning one way and then the other with every event/scene. I am happy with the outcome though, as I'm positive Kaidoh would experience the least anguish and most happiness with Inui. Not to mention, Akutsu did many things I personally would have found unforgivable. But I still like him and like to think that he does what he does not so much because he's cruel, but because the way his mind works is that different (relatively warped even, in comparison to conventional ethics, hehe). He's a very interesting character here and it is really his actions that carry the story. It makes me wish Kaidoh could split himself into two, so that Akutsu could have a Kaidoh as well =). Seeing the Akutsu/Sengoku potential at the end made that more so. Doesn't feel right, dammit. Now I *yearn*. o_O

Taichi Dan had always annoyed me, but this story seriously reinforces that! (I could have lived without his happy ending =P) The other pairings in the story, I liked some more than others. Taka/Momo was sweet. So was Fuji/Jiroh. Oishi/Ryoma was interesting (until Oishi got weirdly mean), as was Yagyuu/Inui. Tezuka/Kaji was amusing. Atobe/Fuji I was glad to see end; Maybe if it was Fuji/Atobe... What I had really hoped to see was an uke-Tezuka pairing. Maybe, possibly in a future fic? Fuji/Tezuka.. Atobe/Tezuka... ::is hopeful::

But hell, I want more Akutsu/Kaidoh or Inui/Kaidoh. This story has left a serious impression on me. I'll be thinking about it for days. Thank you so much for writing and sharing it! Truly well done!

After an awfull internet breakdown, I was finally able to read your last chapter.
Just one word comes to my mind : Congratulation. It was such a great story full of twists. That was great because you could not guess the final ending until the last few chapters.

scarily enough, probably to the point of obsession because i couldn't sleep last night coz i wanted to read it @_@
BUT OMG i am a huge fan of InuKai (hooray) and i think u did such a great job in ur story, omg and i loved how u wrote some of the japanese phrases in there too. kakoii!!
anyway i loved the story, InuKai forever, they're hot, they should be making sweet sweet love all through the night!!

Allow me to crack up. XD Oh a perfect ending! The Inui/Kaidoh was hot!!! And damn that Yuuta, being all mean to Tachibana, though it was cute when they got back together.

Loved the Fuji/Jiroh. So cute.

And the buchou love. ~cracks up~ Let's go talk. lol

I read through everything and even though I am not a native English speaker, I highly recommend that you either read the fic over again or hand it to a beta reader. And check some of the names. Like Yukimura's and the one of Kaidoh's brother, which is actually Hazue. ^_^ I liked some of the pairings in there and I especially liked Kabaji. He does not get enough love. ;O;
