This is a pretty good chapter for something written at 3 in the morning. Whenever I go back and read something I've written that early I usually have to wonder what happened to my mind, or if it just ran away. :) :) :)

omg! Zoro's gay? Just kidding. This story is great! And please, don't worry about the smut; you seem intelligent enough to know these things shouldn't be rushed. I think your pace is fine. The chapters could stand to be longer, but they aren't horribly short or anything. Sometimes when you're writing a story, you just know when you've reached the end of a part. And each of the chapters do have a definite sense of closure.
I like the way the characters feel in your story. They are very true to cannon, without that kind of forced-ness you get in some other fics. I think you have a really good grasp of their quirks and personalities to be able to retell the story this way. You must have a lot of love in you for the characters.
Some of the chapters seem like they could have used a bit of revision, like, they're kinda rough in a way, but it's no big deal. Don't linger on every sentence, every word trying to decide if it flows perfect. Your writing is fine; I'm just saying that you could probably make it perfect ^_^. I understand that you actually *gasp* have a life, and can only do so much. Trust me when I say that readers would prefer to sacrifice a bit of quality in exchange for actually getting to read this.
