What an amazing story. I absolutely loved it. I thought everything about Jin was wonderful and even though I favor Mugen/Fuu relationships-- even from the beginning I was rooting for the ronin in your story. It was a sign that you do you job well as an author. I am sure I am not the first one to tell you this, but maybe you should try your hand at an actual book?

This is definitely one of my top 5 fav fanfics - pan fandom. You ROCK!

BTW it cracks me up, but is also a little pitiful how some of these fangirls want the story to go the same old predictable way that hundreds of others do. Kudos for making this YOUR story and not giving in to the pressure to feed the masses the pap they want. (I loved both BOTH Mugin and Jin in this - you really brought them to life and all of your decisions about their actions made perfect sense to me)

I just have to say that you are evil, and this story... absolutely sinful. I'm in the middle of finals and I still read straight through, only stopping for food and to rush to class. You have a very clever repertoire of language skills and the pacing of your writing moved quick enough to be interesting, but lingered where it should. A total delight from beginning to end; the only complaint- or maybe it’s a good thing- is I sometimes had trouble following the dialog, and had to go back to reread, but that just made the story last longer.

Thanks so much, I’ve been a little frustrated with finding stories I want to read, lately.

This story is the best SC fic i have ever read.

Unfortunetly, I find Mugen's actions very contradictory to the character you built him on in the previous chapters. I suppose the point you're trying to make in the end is that he's CLEARLY a non-commital person? would NEVER be 'settlin-down' type-a-guy with the one he truly felt for? Worse yet, he'd eventually stop pursuing the one he desires most? Cuz he loved her too much? Or what? I'm kind of confused here. Maybe cuz I got a bit groggy after an all-nighter with this.. around the 28th chapter. Care you explain for me? ^-^ :]

At first I was livid at Jin/Fuu- but then I realized that was because of Mugen's pure BAKA-ness. What a total and COMPLETE asswipe! I've lost respect for him in here, I have to say. In all honesty, a huge dissappointment for me esp. after the development he went through earlier... *soweee..*

And now, I hate, HATE Yatsuha. Fuckin' whore. Just... her and Mugen.. after everything... UGH! Bakas, the lot of them. Don't think I can look at them the same way again. Yep, this is the impact your story's got on me. Meh.




So I kinda lost the nerve to FULLY delve into the last couple chapters of your masterpeice, in all its full detail and glory. I jus' skimmed it due to heartbreak that lasted... half an hour+, I'd say. (I been up all night at this, ya know - It's now 9am, LOL) I suppose I'll get over it sometime and then worship the last few chapters to bits.


I will say this with the FIERCE ball of PASSION that coils inside me: BEST friggin SC story I've ever read. PERIOD.

I have enjoyed this story so much. I'm both sad and glad that you have finished it: glad with the way you ended it, but sad that there is no more to read. The way you have written it, it could be episodes of the anime that we just haven't seen yet. You brought me to tears when it looked as if Jin was really dead this time, but I'm happy that you ended it the way you did. This is a beautiful piece of writing, from start to finish.

I stumbled across Nenju yesterday, and just finished it. I am in complete awe of your writing skills, as this is the best Samurai Champloo fanfiction I have come across, and one of the best pieces of fanfiction overall that I have ever read. Your tone is fantastic, practically identical to how the characters are portrayed in the anime. I was drawn in and was engaged in the plot; so much so I could not wait to continue reading and see what would happen next. This is fantastically written, and I thank you for sharing it with us. I would love to know if you have written more Samurai Champloo fanfiction, and if so, where I could find it, as I would enjoy reading more or your fiction very much. Thank you again!

Jin is pussywhipped throughout this entire story and then you go and castrate him at the end. Why am I not surprised?
