Sorry, but don't you think, your style is kinda ... too cold?
I can't empathize with the characters, nor can I imagine the environment, even knowing the anime.
I think our styles are totally black and white. Maybe a canny intermixture of both would help.

PS: Btw ... I have to apologise for some, maybe, strange sentences. I'm not English, but German, so I needed some help from an English friend. She corrected my translation (which I did for some practice for school), but still there seems to be a noticeable difference between English and German prose.
