this was unexpectedly beautiful. I don't run across very many things on this site where I stop and think "Wow... that was really beautiful," but... yeah. Bittersweet and filled with simple imagery of things like fingers and piano keys and hair falling into his eyes ... I love reading fics from Kaworu's point of view, because, aside from the power and decisions he must make, there is a part of him that (unlike the other angels) is beautifully and irrevocably HUMAN. Living as a lilim hasn't made him exactly human, but the essentials are there - love and admiration and regret and wistfulness.

Superb. The way Kaworu's thoughts slid across the page displayed the fluid logic in them, but the simultaneously contradictions belied the inner turmoil he faced, very well done. Beautifully bittersweet.

That was a treasure. The reader can feel exactly what Kaworu feels, and yet they can't come close to it. The anticipation, his love for Shinji...I'm not as eloquent as you, but trust me that it's beautiful.
