This is a pretty good fic. The characters are pretty in character, especially Hakkai and his angsting about his demonic self. I rather like the fact that you gave him wings, it kinda cements the fallen angel thing he has going on with him. Anyways, write on awesome person!

This is great. Hakkai's issues wouldn't just go away once his craving was filled, they're older than the thing with Kannan, even. (Well, I suspect so, at least.) I don't think Gojyo is going to take to this well at all.... he's still got big issues with that scar. Update soon, please?

I really like your story, and am curious as to how it is going to turn out.

I especially liked the bit about Sanzo breaking down after having his chi moved. It actually does happen. In raiki sessions when th healer gets close to something really blocked, the person can get physically ill or very upset. I actually had to stop a raiki session on myself for that reason.

I'm so glad to see you've updated! The angst you have going on is so intense and it plays off Hakkai's guilt perfectly. Your portrayal of his hatred and distrust towards his demon side is done extremely well, as well as his denial in believing he has any right to love from anyone. Especially his friends. Poor Hakkai.

Idiot, your making a place for yourself, not taking them over. He's just completely caught up with the misconception that demon=bad. He grew up in a world where to some extent demons were just the pointy-eared folks down the road, but there's obviously still a lot of prejudice in the population under the surface that was just was just waiting for an excuse to make the demons into the bad guys. It doesn't help that Chin Yisou somehow infected his inner voice. Even now when it's gone, Hakkai still doesn't trust himself because of it.

Damn, wow. Thank you so much for updating. I like the desperateness of the twist as he resists his nature. I can't imagine how the others are going to manage to pull him out of this. He said it best when he told Gojyo he didn't feel that he deserved affection from anyone. In the end he's never been able to truly accept himself despite accepting everyone else and their needs. If one of the others had needed blood, he would have been the first to volunteer. In fact, he does that on a daily basis by giving them his chi.

Your take on Hakkai and his blood lust make a lot of sense, I really like that. Your explanation on why he focuses on qigong shows great depth.

Goku is just an amazing person. He sees to the heart of a matter and has no qualms about going for the direct solution. Chapter 3 was just hot.

A blood sacrifice freely given should help tame the hunger. If he'd had to brake enough to take it, he'd never have been able to recover.

Chapter 5, oh my god that was so hot. The sweet tang fulfilling heated blood lust, mating claim, mmm I just want more.

Chapter 7 was beautiful. The one problem the group has always had in not leaning on each other's strengths outside of fights. Becoming closer and joining like this is the purpose of the journey, and I like how you've brought that into play.

Nice. A connection binding them all. I wonder if it will make the ties already between them stronger even through reincarnation? A fitting relationship view to all of them, especially helping Sanzo yet acknowledging his status as well. As for Gojyo..I admit I'm more of a 83 fan, but I still like this fic. More?

Love your story.. so happy you updated... and i do believe that Hakkai did win that battle against Seitan (was hard for me to tell though since the scans i had found weren't in english), though he did get his ass kicked in the process.

You updated! That makes me a happy little camper. Anyway, what I wanted to tell you is that you shouldn’t worry about boring readers because the characters haven’t jumped into bed together immediately, the wait and the slowly increasing tension between the four of them is going to make the moment when they finally get smutty even better. What would be the fun if there was no character development?

Oh, and the story is indeed getting darker and darker by the second, which is so goooood! Anyway, please, don’t loose your way in this story, I really wanna know what happens. :)
