This chapter blew me away. Liked both versions of the chapter, letting both of the charachers show their vounrable side, though it's easier for me to see Ratio in the Seme role taking care of L than the other way around(though both versions were waaaay hot)

Mostly I'm replying to your L vs R comment. While yes, techincally Japanese does not have an L sound, L is not Japanese. If any nationality, L is most likely to be English, since that is where Watari's orphanage is. Ryuuzaki, like Ryuuga, are assumed names he takes, and the single letter is not meant to be an initial. Most of all, the Japanese manga uses the English letter L for his name, not a "ra" or "ru" hirigana or katakana.

nauseatingly long? are you KIDDING me? Not long enough. I'm in love, dammit. I do hope you continue with this soon... I won't be able to forgive you (regardless of the fact that I don't KNOW you), if you don't. It made me giggle, it made me chuckle... it made me go "aww"... and damn, it was hot, too. I love the relationship between Light and L ... and the role reversals between seme and uke are so smooth... it's almost scary. I love how there isn't a specific one and how the roles are so interchangeable between the both of them.

And god dammit... it's so freaking romantic.

Amazing writing and everyone seems in character too, L/Raito are just so damn cute together - and I can't wait to read more of this story (and the smut) ::Nosebleeds and dies from the blood loss::
