i agree with the first reviewer, that the relationships between Soubi and Seimei, and then with Ritsuka was a little rushed. but maybe this can be attributed to me being a fan girl and being biased towards the Soubi/Ritsuka couple thats making me say that hehehe

all in all, Delayed Gratification had something that is rare to find in fanfiction. i can't even put a name to it, but it has a lil something that isn't common. Textbook Example also had a lil somethin to it (haven't read Coalesce or Surrogate yet). so maybe it's ur approach to writting as well as you writting style, but whateva it is, i like it!! and if you write more in the Soubi/Ritsuka, Roy/Ed and Light/L genres in the future, then i'll be glad to read it

I absolutely adore this story. It's so well written and so emotional and I had to read it more than once to appreciate everything about it. Please, please continue to write for this fic, it's too good.

That was beautifully written. I enjoyed it immensely.

This was a very interesting fic. It dealt with the relationships that Soubi has with the people he's closest to, not just on a personal, friendly level, but also on a sexual level. In many ways, sex did play an important role in shaping Soubi; the way he thinks about himself and the way he defines his relationships with others. For him, sex has a different meaning than it does to Kio and Ritsuka, and it was mostly shaped by Ritsu-sensei and Seimei.

My only problem with the fic is that I felt you rushed through his relationship with Seimei and Ritsuka. Granted, most people focus on Soubi and those two, but you are trying to present a perspective that's different and you shouldn't avoid it or ignore it. But other than that, it was a really good fic. Keep writing and now I'm off to find more fics that you've written.
