So is this the end>? THe story has been so amazing and I just adore Katze! I really kept wanting Raoul to be different but the truth is you kept in him character. I wanted him desperately to be someone he is not because its so painful to see Katze in this situation, but its still much more of a life than a furniture can expect isnt it? you write them beautifully together. I especially love the emphisis of their intellectual relationship, discussions, chess. I love how you portray Katze's attempts to deny his own feelings about the situation throughout the story. So Raoul's name is about to be smeared- the thing he cared about the most- I think he still couldnt be any happier and its very beautiful.

Hi. I've only just finished reading " On Hire " and I must say I'm very pleased to have decided to read it! It was a good and enjoyable read. I've read several RaoulxKatze and most of the time I just can't stand that pairing. However, by the time I finished yours, it seems as though I don't seem to mind them much anymore. In fact, I do believe I'm quite fond of them now. Originally, I didn't/don't like Raoul but now, I see him in a whole new light. lol..
Also loved that you didn't make them into the second IasonxRiki pairing but instead kept their intimate times actually almost believable. And that you didn't turn Raoul into some amazing sex god that suddenly made Katze weak in the knees.. though I would still approve of that but yeah.
Good work! I look forward to more of your works! :D

That has got to be one of the most devastating ending that I have ever read. But that is not to say that it wasn't good. It was a magnificent conclusion to all this problems. What really irked me though, is the possibility that they won't actually have a emotional ties, and what would happen to Riki and Iason after all this. Can they handle it? Urgh!! Just too much to think about. But I DEFINITELY do NOT regret reading this. I love it.

Lovely. Absolutely lovely, Lena. Thank you for sharing. I liked the way you portrayed Raoul and Katze. I thought for a moment I was the only one thinking they'd be a good team together.

Hi! I'm only up to chap. 2 so far, but I just wanted to stop and review and say--I love this!! My introduction to this anime was via "Taming Rikki" the fanfic. I was so disappointed when I read the screenplay to discover that Rikki and Iason die. I hope this is an alternative world were they don't. Anyway, I love this story so far--I can't wait to see how Raoul and Katze's relationship develops!

Well, I don't like that you ending this not really ending it--why end it so unsatisfactorally and then write a sequel--why not just one big longer work? Oh, well it's your story, but I guess I'm just sad because I thought I was reading a complete story, and this leaves you hanging. I guess it's complete however in that Katze has chosen R. over Iason, however. Anyway, it's very good--I like the Iason/Rikki part a lot. I'm going to go try to find the sequel. I hope you add it here too. I know that the reviewers on the anime section of AFF are really few, but there are readers. It's sort of odd, but I've noticed that each subsection sort of has it's own flavor )the Naruto section seems the best for reviewer/writer love). Anyway, thanks for posting this. By the way I read your Myth post and it was very helpful--thanks. I like your story a lot--I'm just hoping for a happy ending . . .

I Loved this story! You did SO well with the characterizations and WOW, plot idea was great great great! I am at a loss for words as to how good this was. In keeping with the novel's air, you made the world of AnK your own and I applaude your fine work! I have gone to your wonderful webpage as well and am stunned at the dedication you have put into this great novel! Kudoes and many many thanks for that as well! Hope you have inspiration in 2007 as well and you get the happiness and fortune you deserve!

This was a absolutely fabulous story! I loved how you seemed to keep everyone in character and came up with a plot that was believable. It was sad at times but it just made you feel all the more for the characters, I can't wait for Delivery to see how the story continues.
One other thing when I first started in this fandom your myths article was one of the first things I came across and I found it very helpful in having a basic understanding of the story, before it all got ruined by fanfiction.
