Yea!! An update so soon after I discovered your story! I did some research on the web and actually found the transcript of the anime in translation. I was devestated to read the deaths of Iason and Riki--I much prefer the "Taming Riki" version. Anyway, back to your story--Poor Anekin!!! I thought D. was really caring for him, but now it looks like he's more into R. and sort of helpless to resist what R. wants. But R. planning on doing a sort of snuff thing on Anekin--I hope that will snap Der. out of it. Well the next chapter should give some hints were you are going with this and also mostly likely be very hot. I'm looking forward to it. I like Anekin and the cook's developing relationship. The other servant (forgot name) is interesting--maybe he'll move into being a more important character?
Well I'm looking forward to more. I gather from the author note that you are writing something else--I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the update. Oh--about the low level of fan traffic--I bet when June puts out the novel, it will go up.

I'm glad to hear you're not letting go of My Brother, My Master. I know how it feels to read a story and wish I had written it myself. However, I also know that you can write great stories so I'm positive you can make it even better.

I really can't decide which story I like more. Nicea's story or Anekin's story. Since you're updating both, I guess I lucked out because I don't have to choose! Just don't forget poor Bagoas.... :)

Please don't be dis-swayed by the lack of reviews...I'm sure many, many people are reading your work...It just sucks that more don't take the time to write a review as a way of expressing thanks.
I hope Derik and Reis are not too rough on poor little Anekin...Although, knowing the way you've described Reis, I think he's going to be testing Derik, seeing how far he can push him into hurting the boy!
One question though...I missed reading Roman Slave Boy. I wondered, (if at all possible) is there some way I could get to read it? I know you said you were waiting to hear from a publisher about it...and if it didn't get published you would think about putting it back up again...Any luck? From all that I've read of your work, I've missed a real treat, and I'd love to have the chance to read it! PLEASE...please...please...please? lol

Wheee! Another chapter! As much as I like the relationship developing between the three of them, I'm liking this plot very much as well. I think original charactes gives you more room to work with in the AnK world.
