Yes, I understand your concern over the time period (since in these circumstances, Alucard might not have been born yet O_o. However, the era was not intential. I'll try to explain ^_^; The thing is, it's only the first two scenes where it is the 12th century, yet by the time we get to Wallachia, hundreds of years have already passed. I was struggling how to reveal the date without ruining the flow of the story...I guess that was stupid to leave it out for further chapters, eh?

This has all the makings of a great story. I've never heard of the legend about the woman who was turned into a statue, but it is very intriguing. And interesting it should end up in Dracula's(Alucard's)possession. I am anxious to see where the story goes.

Good work! I worried at first that you'd set it in the 12th century, but that was the story. Truly wonderful and I'm 'dying' to follow wherever it leads.
