Good story, interesting coupling/premise. The only problem I had with it was how Sayuri got rid of the locket - I know she had to get rid of the picture, but there are more respectful ways to do it (the ocean comes to mind). Wouldn't mind a sequel/prequel if possible. Looking forward to more stories.

Excellent and wistful. Definitely not for everyone, but very much worth it regardless.
Heh, it almost has the type of feel that some of Eponymous' El-Hazard fanfics have... only with sex.
