Oooooo... someone is about to be slapped I think...
From the starting point I didn't see that twist coming at the end, pretty cool. I see guys do that... not wanting to admit something like that and trying to live a normal life but only fool themselves and hurt the girl who loved them. Better to be honest about stuff indeed. I bet he married her out of the feeling of alienation... Maybe I'm delving too far into it, but anyway it was a cool idea!
Great writing ability! Nothing at all hindered the story's rhythm, hope you keep on writing cool stuff!
