Wow. I found this randomly the other day and have spent all of last night and tonight reading. I'm absolutely blown away by your steady pacing and realistic character development. Light and L's growing relationship has been handled with great insight that I really admire. Thank you so much for your work! I look forward to see where this goes in future chapters.... ^o^

Alright, I'll admit I couldn't review each chapter as I read because I was so sucked into the story and kept wanting to read more, so I HAD to keep clicking on the "next chapter" link. Now that you're at a "pause" here since there isn't another link for the next one yet...., it's review time! *lol*

Obviously I reaaaaally like the way you've presented this pairing (you can tell cuz I HAD to read through to the end before reviewing (^_^)), and do like the other characters coming in because I feel it adds more "realism" to the story - and YAY for not automatically going to the PWP plot line (not that I don't like those, but I really do like reading fiction where someone's actually thought out chapters for relationship development).

I'll admit the very first chapter, I had a lil confusion in one paragraph with the "he" and "him" before I figured out - I had to go back and reread that one bit to figure out which "he" you were talking about - I think it was just one place and I think I'd initially thought it was Light, but it turned out to be L... or maybe it's the other way around... *frowns* I'll have to go back and find it. Other than that, very well written - I'm not sure if you planned out your entire story line and then broke it out into chapters and wrote it that way, or if you've got the general line and are now adding fillers!

Can't wait for the next chapter! (^_^)

Your writing could use a slight going over - there are some minor grammar/spelling errors, but nothing strong enough to detract from the story, and you seem to use the same explanations for your characters a lot (oddball, eccentric detective etc)but overall, it is fairly well written, and although they are obviously one shots, they relate really well together, and your characterisations of L and Light are pretty spot on.

Kudos for that, L is a hard character to write!

Can't wait for the next update.

Awesome update i had almost given up hope on updates for this story....So much so that i had to reread the entire thing to remember what it was about...Not to complain or anything this is an awesome story worthy of the second read...Anyway loved this new chapter woot woot L light lovin a little violent but what isn't between those two ne? Anyway awesome stuff ignoring the title i almost wish you would AU this a bit to make L and Light live happily ever after while sky diving :) Anyway can't wait for the next chapter XD.

PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE KEEP GOING WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!! I really like this story I would love to see Light and L's relationship go to the next level. They really should be together, and PLEASE IF YOU DO CONTINUE MAKE IT A HAPPY ENDING, I THINK WITH EVERYTHING THEY ARE GOING THROUGH THEY DESERVE TO BE HAPPY!!!*smiles*
