Very nicely done... it's sweet, simple but gentle flow allows this piece to be cutesy but not crackish. Are you going to continue? You are right about the time, Light gets his memories back so will this turn angst or are you going to take it in another direction. Or just quit now?

Wow, I really like this story. I think it's great that your developing the romanitc relationship between Light and L. Though it is always fun to read a fic where they through themselves at each other because of mad chemistry, this is so much more believable, and a nice change of pace. Of course, that doesn't mean I don't anxiously await each new romantic hint!

I also really like how you have Light as the one reaching out more between the two. I'm a strong believer that the personalities of Light and Kira are alot more different then most people seem to think, and that without the Death Note, for all Light is dangerously brilliant he's also a really kind person. Plus, as the younger of the two it makes sense that he's a bit more idealistic at times. Anyways, in short, I love you characterizations!

Can't wait to read more!

This fanfic is uncommonly well-written and in-character. I could really picture such scenes occurring between Light and L. So, are you going to write another chapter? You haven't updated for quite a few months now, but I am terribly curious to see what happens next, so please do update!!

Whoot! I'm so glad I found this story! I'd been despairing for one that works with the canon, rather than twisting and bending the 'Sacred Canon' out of proportion.

I just have one question - why does L constantly inform Light of the percentages? I get the function, but it just struck me as a little odd that he would constantly mention it, rather than let Light puzzle it out himself.

still very good. L seems unusually quiet and soft in this installment. not OOC, just unusual enough to make you go "hmmm". which is what i suspect you wanted as evidenced by the other characters also noticign it. the L- Light relationship is fascinating to watch and seems to be getting sweeter. although i feel it will be bitter sweet as i want them so much to "get together" but even if they do we all know that it can't work or won't last (can it?).

This story is everything I want from a Light and L story. Well done. Too bad Matsuda and Misa were so completely forgotten just moments after being the cause of such nervous self-nibbling, but that's okay. This is very well written, and it's going to hit us like brass knuckles when Light gets his hands on the deathnote. I will enjoy every step along the way, I am certain.

For 'Red and Black':
I love your whole take on L's reaction to Matsuda's idiocy in this one. In fact, it's just a beautiful analysis of L's character in general.

Your writing is still amazing and I loved reading this chapter! I can't wait to read more!
