This is just… perfect. There's no other word for it. It's truly amazing. It's splendiferous. You kept them completely in character, and I loved the Doumeki perspective (personally as a giant uke-type personality I don't think I could ever properly write him). I loved that he was at the same time annoyed, but still protective, and still a bit needy, but that it was clear he'd been keeping a tight lid on his feelings all this time - exactly what I would expect of the big lug X3 … Well done! Sorry to see this story is so old, which means you probably aren't planning to write any more Holic fics, but I will faithfully read and review if you do. You rock!

Very powerful and potent one shot. Recently got involved with xxxHolic - the possibilities with Watanuki and Doumeki are endless, and they just beg to be paired together. They are classic fairy tale heroes, and their struggles and lessons can be nothing other than epic.

Seriously, this was one of the best well written fics I have ever read. I absolutely love the way you portrayed Doumeki's perspective. Not to mention all true in more ways than one.

Loved it. It's exactly the "missing scene" that I could imagine happening during the Spider arc. The emotions were tense, the sex was tantalizing, and the dialogue was spot-on. Great job!

I'm pretty sure I reviewed this story on ff.net, but I felt the need to tell you yet again how wonderful this is.

...I love this. I do. I just... it proves that still waters run deep, in Doumeki's case, and... I just liked it. Watanuki trying to reassure those girls even while being hauled off, Doumeki's anger, and at the end, Watanuki wanting his eye back. Beautiful.

this is so good i like the way you wrote it and i could image domeki finally loosing his temper with him. you go!

o_o wasn't expecting this to be 1st person doumeki.... but it really works. you really got his anger across well. the smex seemed alittle out of place for me, kinda like you suddenly remembered you wanted it in there. but then, it's their first times so of course it's gonna sound like this.
