Right out of the gate you have Rei out of character but for this kind of fic. That’s a given so I’m not finding fault with it!
You could carry this story much farther and I encourage you to do so. There is a lot left to tell. The poem and loving hugging and kissing were very heartwarming. I would like to see more. Also perhaps you could not portray Shinji as a stupid penis and have the two girls help him find himself and his own happiness….just a thought.
