I enjoyed "A Thousand and One Roses." Though I'm more in the darkfic camp, sometimes I just want some Warm and Fuzzy Feelings. I especially loved the description of Tsuzuki missing the presumed dead Muraki. Also, the present choices were excellent. I love the idea of Tsuzuki getting his ears pierced to wear earrings from Muraki. The sex was sensual, and your considerate Muraki warms my ebil little heart.
I have constructive criticism as well.
There are some minor problems with the tense; you briefly slipped into present tense. Also, in Japan women give men presents on Valentine's Day. Men give women presents the next day: White Day. I've seen anime tackle this by having uke give presents to their seme on Valentine's.
I thoroughly enjoyed "A Thousand and One Roses," and look forward to reading more of your fic.
