Hey, dry those tears. Sometimes a story just exceeds the physical limits to be finished, sometimes things get in the way, no matter what the case, all that matters is you had fun writing the story, and people had a good time reading it. That's how people need to write, when you enjoy what you do, it comes out well.
This was an excellent story in my opinion, and look, just because it's stopping doesn't mean it's the end. We'll always remember not only this, but you for it.
I'm damn proud to have been a reader and reviewer for your work here, and I wish you all luck and god speed with your other projects.
Some of us down here, especialy me, would like to shake your hand and buy you a drink.

I'm both saddened and happy. Sad that the story is getting cut short rather than being completed as intended, but happy for you that you have this opportunity.
I wish you the best of luck with your movie project, DarkMaiden! I know you can make it a great one.

I completely forgot what the last chapter I had read was so I just went ahead and reread it all.
Not much I can say beyond the usual "brilliant". The work is just that great, it warrants no correction from me.
As for you computer problems, what kind of back ups do you keep? I personaly keep everything on paper, adn 3.5inch floppies.
Anyways, keep at it, I'll get back into the swing of reading again, it's been too long sinc eI've been on AFF and all my favorite people are still here.

Hi. As always thanks for the reviews, they’re always welcomed!
Now to answer some of the questions:
Basically they just don’t want to do what Team Rocket did with them, so as long as the recruits aren’t there by brute force or by full manipulation (not having any free will) they don’t feel it’s unfair, they see it as “offering them honors”. Damien is now trying to avoid them from using unnecessary influence generated by abilities because he saw Nina getting way out of her mind cursing a human just to “mark her territory”, compared to that Lilith and her skill to make people fall madly in love with her is a minor issue. Sam could have said no and he didn’t (spoiler...sorry), that’s all Damien cares about for the big picture, but he does worry about Lilith overusing or misusing her skills keeping an eye on her.
The Characters Data files are merely to refresh people’s memory of who is who lol, Bradley and Ryo are good examples, they’ll go into the spotlight soon but without the Char Data I doubt people would even remember they existed…poor things I so gotta make it up to them.
What I mean is that I tried to avoid any spoilers or details when writing that, sticking only to the basics. I said Damien was mixed with an Alakazam and I added that his first powers were Psychic and evolved from there, but I didn’t go deep enough to say he’s a traumatized telepath since childhood (I figured it would spoil chapters 7, 8 and 9 of Season 2).

Firstly: I'm sorry to hear you lost your original work! I know what thats like and it sucks, royally.
I was glad to see Gabriel gaining the upper hand in the battle, though it serves him right to have been shocked for losing his rational sense of mind. Nevertheless it was still satisfying to see Bianca taken down in the end. Very satisfying.
So it seems Sam is still somewhat normal, he hasn't fully become controlled by his master if I understood his thought process right. And I always thought of him as more of a naga than a merman haha
The bloodlines sound like an intriguing addition to the whole hybrid situation.
And aw, poor Damien... so he was a natural psychic to a certain degree and Team Rocket/Genesis amped it up a few (dozen) notches.
Noah's suicidal, huh? Not on the pills or anything to prevent it, I guess, but then again maybe they wouldn't work on a hybrid subject.

Its nice to see some more of Team Genesis complex plans appearing. Same goes for the in-fighting between Gabby and Bianca.
Poor Sam sounds like he's gone over to the dark-side, just as Jack has, but far more dedicated. I still feel like Jack is just biding his time to break free, but when he can truly be free and not simply be hunted down and taken back again.
I'm expecting Vi to take Sams death rather badly after the kiss, more so than it would have usually been.
All and all a good update, DarkMaiden! Looking forward to the conclusion between Gabby and Bianca!

That was a pretty neat chapter, if you do ever find yourself in a "Oh shit, what do they do now? O_o;" moment, throw my character, using a Biochemist is always good for a laugh. XD
