Heheh. We DO post on the same day, don't we considering I posted earlier today. Heheh. I feel sorry for Tres and Aurora, gotta suck when you're stuck in limbo for so long. Weiss has pretty men in it too. Plot holes you could drive a semi truck through but very pretty men. You've already met three characters from the series anyway as they're in DA. I have to pass my classes with A's as it took me two years just to get into them. There's a lot to be said for going back to school after you have a few years on you. Honey, we're all tired. Welcome to adulthood, it inhales mightily. It DOES get better, I promise once you learn to ignore everyone else's bitching and whining, which is usually damn hard to do. Anyway, lovely chapter, dear. I've enjoyed this last chapter very much. Speaking of pretty men, have you SEEN Abel's freaking English voice actor. Good gods! http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=29218

When you're down it's hard to be an objective judge of your own work, ne? Things seem bad when, to a reader, they're fine. I like how Alex is still dreaming of Hugue, and how Abel wasn't selfish in bed. It's actually a really interesting scenario - how to deal with relationships when your life is very long - and I like the fact that you're exploring it. Hugue remains a tangible presence here, even though he's gone. The Alucard/Integra thing is actually a nice foil to the much more tangled knot of relationships among the Crusniks. Of all the long-lived beings you're working with, Alucard seems to be the only one who truly has his shit together, in that he isn't torn inside - but you could say he manages that by being a monster to the hilt, and I like how you portrayed that in contrast with Abel and Alex, who are all too human, and Cain, who's like a crazy human rather than a sane monster. (Well, that's how it all seems to me, anyhow.) Re Isaak's gloves, he actually has a chip in his brain (kinda like the Hellsing freak chip, maybe) that lets him do his mojo, and the gloves interface with the chip - just in case you want to use that angle (but I'm all for just taking what works for your story).

*grins* i think this chapter was just fine. ah yes those kinds of dreams are always the good ones but nothing compares to the real thing i suppose. as for the last two chapters i think, they were beautiful and filled me with tons of jealousy^^
*sniffle* yes i haven't reviewed in a while and you are allowed to beat me up for that. just please dont hurt me too badly ^^

I'm sorry you're so down, dear. Is it clinical or just the "life sucks" thing? Sorry, being way too nosy. I'm sorry I can't offer you anything other than tea and empathy as my psych degree is for criminal psych and not counseling. I hope you feel better at any rate. I thought the chapter was quite lovely. I'm happy that it seems like at some point in time Alex really did love Hugue. Even happier that she and Abel seem to be getting back to some semblance of what they were previously. Wonderful work as always.

You're doing some interesting things with the brothers here - I look forward to seeing where you take them, especially re where they stand vis a vis their fathers. Don't worry, I have problems with Alucard x just about anyone in the context of an ongoing relationship. I think I always see Alucard's sexual partners as not surviving the experience, but that's just me, lol. Re the gloves, Alucard and Isaak have virtually the same gloves, with those pentagrams on them - ack, but they left the designs out of the anime and just left his gloves white. They're only shown in the novels and manga (they're described as a user interface for Isaak's lost technology "magic", but I can't help wondering if the writer just got inspired by Alucard's look). Nevermind, anyway, I had forgotten they weren't in the anime.

i really really really liked this chapter. i'm not exactly catching on with the whole Aurora/Tres thing yet but maybe its cuz its nasty humid and muggy outside and my brain isn't functioning lol. my favorite was the part with the two brothers. its like possible early Cain and Abel when they were younger, maybe they were like that, i bet they were. so its like we're seeing their early years relived through the kids added with your imagination. i really like it. it has my vote on being awesome. can't wait for more chapters!! they're addicting. ^_^

I am glad to have found the sequel to "Faith" since I did not like the ending. Please keep up the great work. Your writing style rocks. By the way Alucard's > AX members :) Please don't portrait him in a bad way.
I'm looking forward to reading more.

Hai Hai!! Thanks for the chappy! It was supercalifragilistic..ex..spe..al..*Cough*…Anyways it was really good. Yay Alucard and Integra fun time! But I must confess for a time I wanted him and Alex to have a night under the moonlight with the fireflys all around and the wind in their hair…opps I was rambling again. Oh wellzzz can’t wait for the next chap!! *goes back to eating strawberry pie* Yum strawberrylicious!
