This was an awesome read! I really enjoyed it. You have a very crisp and delicious style. Shishio and Yumi are one of my favcorite RK coulping and you captured their character perfectly!
I hope you come out with another chapter soon. :) I'm looking forward to reading more.

I could love you forever. There is a shortage of Shishio/Yumi fics on the web, so I was elated to find this one. I absolutely love it so far. I think you've kept everyone well within character and your overall grammar isn't bad. There have been a few spelling mistakes and the like, but nothing that a good beta or spellcheck can't fix. I can't wait for more; this is an awesome story, so keep up the awesome work!

Hiya, it's me again.
I love this line:
"After all, she was a prostitute not a princess and he was a manslayer not prince charming and this was a red light district not some kingdom far, far away."
Perfect resume of why I love that pairing myself.
The scene when Yumi left the brothel reminds me of two similar scenes, one in 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and another in the anime 'Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto'. Bit typical, but it works as a means to release Yumi.
I hope you can exploit Shishio and Yumi's relationship more as they began to create the Juppon Gatana--looking forward to next chapters!

At first I wasn’t very interested in reading this fic because I wasn't into this pairing. But I'm glad I did. This story is absolutely captivating. You made Yumi an enchanting character. It's very easy to feel for her and understand her infatuation with Shishio.
And the smut was very good too. :-)

Well, since you're writing about my favourite pair in RK, guess I should encourage you to write more. I'll be anticipating the next parts.
Anyway, I'd suggest that you change the paragraph format... use the 'web' style of inserting a blank line between paragraphs, that makes it more pleasant to read.
