Oh god PLEASE continue this story this must be my favorite story on AFF (and that's saying a LOT because usually I come here to jack... any story going this long without some actual smut [short dream sequences don't count] that I like this much is just incredible.)
I don't care if you have to brutally murder all of your other projects, just please update this! Preferebly with 2 to 3 chapters at a time once every half of a week...

There has never been a single fanfiction I have ever or would ever say this about, but I swear I would literally condemn my soul to eternal damnation right now for this story to be finished with all of the chapters right now. I seriously mean that man, not even Halo 3, Gears of War 2 or a darker more realistic pokemon anime or hell all of the above, are worth that. But at this moment I would do that to have this completed story. There isn't any higher honor for a fic I could think of than that. I am very honestly not surprised you have so many reviews, and part of that is how you gave us all what we wanted. An adult, realistic version of pokemon with character deaths, sex, violence, and for the sappy ones, an anime style romance; except this one actually happens! Ever watched an anime, seen a romance hanging on to nonexistance by the slightest of threads, only nothing ever really comes of it? (cough Inuyasha cough) Your story delivers.
On top of that, you picked the best possible pokemon for the job. A sexy pokemon, who more importantly is psychic, and therefore shares a mental and emotional bond. Probably the single reason I like the Inheritance trilogy (Eragon) so much is that Eragon and Saphira share this kind of bond, albeit without the romantic/sexual potential. All these elements combined make for a VERY strong story, one that you will finish if I have to track you down across continents and force you to write. Please overcome your lazy (luxurious, I'd say... I'm the same way!) nature and pick up the pace on this fic... one thing that is ultimate torture beyond a great fic being unfinished is watching a fic go unupdated for months, knowing it will eventually, and knowing it will be updated in bits at a time, the same way, for hundreds more chapters! Please, think of the Kirlias!

There is no way I'd ever abandon this story.
As much as I'd like to give all my other stories the same kind of attention, Sinners is the work that electrifies my muse the most. I don't intend to leave the other stories hanging forever...not to mention I have a half-complete Golden Sun oneshot somewhere on my computer that I need to finish...but this one will always be priority one.
Can't promise quick updates though, and I assure everyone, as much as you all may think otherwise, you wouldn't want them. If I pumped out a chapter every three days, forcing myself to write, you'd have a stale, uninteresting piece of crap. Some people may have the ability to sit down and make themselves write something, and have it be good...but I do not. I must be in a very specific zone to write, and, to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to force myself into it. I get hit by inspiration at random times while doing random things. Sometimes it hits when I haven't slept for a day or two (which is semi-normal for me), which leads to me being physically unable to write, as much as I'd like to (in which case I jot down my ideas in Notepad before I conk out). Sometimes it occurs when I'm outside meditating or enjoying a storm or whatnot, and I literally run inside and start pounding away before it leaves me. But if there's one activity that consistently fails to make me be able to write, it's sitting down at the computer and telling myself to do so.
My muse is a dominatrix. :-/
It kinda surprises me when people talk about how they like the violence and 'gritty reality' of this story, because it really hasn't even gotten started. Slash is 16; Kirlia is still a Kirlia. They've only been together three weeks (or was it a month? gotta re-read my chapters, lol). Despite their tangles with Kiako and Team Magma, and their confrontation with those three punks (I refer to them in my notes as the Poke-Prick Trio), their lives haven't really been that hectic, or that difficult. But they will be. I can't say if this story will have a happy ending, but I can say that if it does...the two of them will have earned it.
Random (but hey, this review response/commentary is long enough already), but here's something that kinda sucks: I am getting inspiration to write, but of a chapter that we're not ready for yet. My muse is desperate to write the first non-dream sexual bout, heh...silly brain, you gotta wait.
Incidentally, I have a feeling I'll end up writing a few (non-"canon")Sinners oneshots as this story progresses...that is, ones that aren't part of the actual storyline. One of my more devious thoughts include a little BDSM...with Gardevoir being the dominant one.
It's time for you to call ME master!
LOL how serious am I? Well, if I could write "Liek, use thundershock okay", I think I could write about Gardevoir in black leather and a cat o' nine tails. O_O

Tch... see, if those ignorant twits wouldn't have jumped to conclusions they'd still be breathing. Why did they immediately assume Slash and Kirlia were romancing? Always give people the benefit of the doubt, no matter what you think you see or what you believe you *should* be seeing. Oh, well. Their stupid mistake.

It's unfair, I know. But it's also, sadly, something that's not entirely uncommon. There are places today, even in the "land of the free", where a white guy sitting with a black girl (or vice versa) might be hassled in the same way, even if all they're doing is watching the sun go down as friends...which Slash and Kirlia still are.

I now accept this story as one of the few greatest stories that exist on this site, in my opinion at least. I knew a sad part of the story would be coming eventually, and I usually don't like them much, but this chapter was fantastic either way. Kinda makes me feel like writing my own story, but I'm not very good at that, and I'm just... not... quite... old enough... >.<
