Man, this is so good. You did a great job of fleshing out the game's world and making it real. Your style is smooth and easy but not pedantic and I like it. Chapter 9 come soon please! (Also waiting for the lemon part to come in but shhhhhh)

I think the fact that I enjoyed your story enough that I actually bothered logging in so I can review is proof enough, but I'll say it anyways. Your story is awesome, I've really enjoyed reading it. I look forward to the continued development of Slash and Kirlia. How soon do you think you'll be posting the next installment?

anuja---Glad you enjoy. Heh, as for the lemony parts...when I was first inspired to write about a human/Gardevoir relationship, I just let myself start typing and wrote a 5000 word lemon. But when I looked it over, I wasn't really happy with it...the emotional feel just wasn't there. So I scrapped it and re-wrote it, making the characters younger and putting them into a multi-chapter new world.

I'm a fan of very long, many-chapter stories, and believe me when I say this one will be one of those, heh.

As for WHEN the lemon will come...well, I still got several chapters before Kirlia evolves, and it's not like Slash and Gardevoir are going to go at it the second she evolves, heh. But it'll happen...eventually. :-P

FluffyLover---I tried reformating my computer when the problem first showed up...didn't work. Bah.

Kirlia will suffer...Slash will suffer...hell, lots of people will suffer. But of course, this isn't a purely dark fic...there will be plenty of fluff to balance it out.

That's not to say that the ending (however far off it is) is going to be a happy one, oh no. When it comes to really long stories, I force myself to ignore what I WANT, and focus on what I feel the story NEEDS. So...well, heh, that's a long way down the road, so I doubt I need to worry about it now. :-P
