I must say, this is one of the better pokemon fics on this site, and I look forward to more from you! I'm enjoying the "other" side of the pokemon world, the darker side that we never get to see.
I also think you are developing the relationship between Kirila and Slash well. Actually building instead of a WHAMBAMOMGSEX kind of story. ^^;

Yes, my world is going to be much, much darker than the anime and the games. What has been seen so far, while a bit more gritty than the 'real' Pokemon world, really hasn't delved into the dark heart of my story yet.

There's going to be some very angsty parts before and after the relationship fully develops...honestly, at this point the sex isn't even in the outline yet (hell, I haven't even planned past Kirlia's evolution into Gardevoir), and the fact that I'm still getting such a large-scale response to Sinners is honestly a little surprising to me. A very welcome surprise, though, heh.

The next chapter is coming along fine, thankfully. I'm looking forward to getting through the next couple so I can get to some fuzziness, which is something I love to write, hehe.

nemo---There's a difference between being a tactical genius and knowing what types are immune to what. I mean, what the hell is required to get your Pokemon certification? Surely there must be SOME basic knowledge involved.

I also distinctly recall Ash attempting to use an electric attack on a Phanpy, as well; if he doesn't know his basic type alignments by the time second-gen Pokemon were introduced, he's never going to learn them.

Of course, half the time the anime lets the electric attacks work (such as in the battle with Brock's Onix...that sprinkler bullshit just doesn't fly)...so, to be blunt, to hell with the anime. Everyone I've ever seen in it epic fails.

But in any case, glad you enjoy the story. But as for Ash, he will not show up in this story at all. If you want, read "Liek use thundershock okay", which I suppose can be considered to be a companion piece for Sinners. XD

I seriously get the chills every time you kill someone, just because it's so "what might actually happen in real life" and not the sugary-sweet Pokemon everybody's used to. And I love it. Um, not that I'm *happy* the poor little nurse dies, you understand, but... well, I'm sure you know of what I speak ^^;

I've always found the various crime syndicates in the series to be very...wussy. I mean, c'mon. If you're going for world domination, or trying to flood/fill in the world, you gotta be in it all the way!

If Jessie and James had just offed the brat the first time they got him in a hole or something...well, I think they'd be a lot happier (as would I).

This story is going to be very...epic, in terms of the events. The romance will be at the heart of it, of course, but as the true motivations for all those involved becomes more clear...things will turn decidedly more sinister. And our poor heroes...and many innocent people...may find themselves in the crossfire.

You're going to see another one soon! Although once I finish the three Flame and Thunder chapters, I think I'm going to add a chapter to all my other incomplete stories before I go back to Sinners...I've neglected those stories even more than this one. :-(

Very cool. Glad you found the inspiration you needed to finish this chapter. (Though I guess maybe you didn't find the inspiration you needed and just finished this chapter without it). Either way, I'm glad you uploaded it. It was definitely the best part of my day (and no, not just because my day pretty much sucked ass). Not much else to say except, like the chapters prior to this, I thouroughly enjoyed it. Hope your able to get your nexr chapter down without having as much trouble.

And yes. Any competent trainer could have taken out those Magma grunts. Meaning there's no way Ash and his (supposed to be 21 but is actually 15 now) brain could have handeled it. Take care.

Ash can be friends with Pikachu all he wants, but it's never going to beat a Donphan of equivalent level (I recall the moron trying to Thundershock a Phanpy at one point, though, so he'd likely be dumb enough to try...)

As for part three of this chapter...soon. Which, for me, could mean days or months...but I think days this time. :-D

Very nice story you have going on here. I noticed it before, but hadn't thought to read it. What just recently caught my attention were the reviews. This story has a little over 5000 hits, but already has about 100 reviews. Even though half of them are you responding, 50 reviews is an impressive amount. My own story has 24000 hits last time i checked, but only about 27 reviews, sadly. Anyway, this story is amazing. Perfect spelling and grammar. The plot is incredible. The connection between Slash and Kirlia is amazing. I have seen a few other stories where trainers form a bond with thier Pokemon, but nothing like this. I truely do love this story, and eagerly await updates. Oh, and next time, I will be logged in.
