I loved the story, it was unexpected at the end! I wasn't expecting a confession during an orgasm though, I'll admit that ^_^;

Wow, I really loved this! Most other Death Note stories I've read, Light is the manipulative one. But having L be so controlling is very refreshing! Although, I would greatly enjoy another chapter. Maybe one where L somehow convinces Light to get rid of the Death Note permanently along with his memories of being Kira? Yeah, I doubt it, but it was worth a shot, right?

I'm glad you wrote it. I like seeing a manipulative L like that and there aren't nearly enough stories that take that route. Really, it doesn't seem at all uncharacteristic for him to try to deceive and manipulate Light (well, aside from the sex, but I'm definitely okay with that). I am a bit curious what was (or wasn't) going through Light's head as he confessed as it seemed kind of sudden for him, though, and he still seemed to be able to think clearly enough to know what L wanted to hear (at least after the initial misunderstanding, which was fun, too).
But in the end I really liked L's resolve to turn Light in, and the distinction he recognized between Light and Light-as-Kira, and Light's own outrage at being betrayed. I'm a sucker for characterization and I liked how both of them came across in this story.
Hm, in hindsight the title makes a whole lot of sense but the double meaning didn't jump out at me as I was reading.
