I'll admit I opened this fic with some trepidation but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. This is a crack pairing I would never have thought of, yet you pull it off so damned well. I love the way these two circle and test each other during their first meetings, and the pacing of their developing association is perfect. I also loved the way they both remained the bastards they are in canon throughout the fic.
