Ahh, satire; a balm for the soul of anyone who's watched one or more seasons of Pokemon. You're a genius for your clever use of satire to drive home the fact that Ash is the worst character ever created.

And to address the complainers out there: they're too stupid to understand true literary genuis. Please ignore them and continue to write whatever the hell you want.

P.S.: this is reminicient of Jonathon Swift's A Modest Proposal... That's pretty much the epitome of good satire and is the highest praise I can bestow upon you.

ZOMG!!!!! Y'know, I could call you a sadist, a pervert, and many other things, but I can't and I won't, because that was just too freakin' hilarious!!!!! You made me an official fan of your works with your "Sinners" arc, but this just cemented that fandom. Anyone that can abuse Ash so well while pointing out his...*ahem*...shortcomings earns a few gold stars in my book.

And my new favorite line (and the one that proves I'm a Pokemon geek, as I can't ever say it without laughing)..."While we're at it, let's earthquake a Pidgey!"

Actually, I watch (and own) the Pokemon movies, but not for Ash or his pathetic crew. In every single movie, it has been proven that Ash...sucks! Consider...

1) A Pokemon made a better trainer than THREE human trainers...and got Nurse Joy to boot!
2) A Slowking knows wtf is going on better than 'the stupid crew'.
3) A 5-year-old girl know more about Pokemon battles than a (by then) 'veteran' Pokemon trainer.
4) YOUNG Prof. Oak STILL kicks Ash's butt when it comes to Pokemon!!!
5) Latios and Latias...need I say more in comparison to Ash?
6) Jirachi...well...that movie wasn't all that good, IMHO. I liked the design on Jirachi, though.

And I haven't watched any movies beyond that (real life sucks, and so does being poor), except for the first half of the Pokemon Ranger movie. I didn't buy Pokemon Ranger (game) initially since it took such a sharp curve away from the 'traditional' Pokemon format, but seeing the freakin' awesomeness of the pirate/ninja/ranger...well, that brought it to total coolness in my book. And yes, he knows better than to thundershock a damn Onyx. Plus, the concepts behind Pokemon Ranger just reminds me strongly of a lot of the themes you present in your stories.

Finally got around to reading this, and I laughed my fucking ass off. Multiple times. While I was rolling on the floor, pissing myself because I was laughing so hard. Great job Slash. NEARLY makes up for that huge fucking cliffhanger you just pulled on chapter 22 of sinners. God I hate cliffhangers.

Just thought I might add, Go ahead and bring in the wailord. I think he deserves it.

StarJedi555---All storytelling, whether written or televised or whatever, comes down to a simple game of "Can You?". Can you get a character through a certain situation and have the solution be both realistic and believable? If I paint one of my characters into a corner, I will kill them, regardless of who they are. The Pokemon anime dorks just make it so "PIKACHU DOES SOMETHING AMAZING JUST IN TIME" or "TEAM ROCKET'S ROBOT BLOWS UP FOR SOME REASON" or "THIS TIME, THUNDERSHOCK WORKS!". Deus ex machina bullshit.

Vyers---I will go to the grave stating that Ash's Pikachu does not know Volt Tackle. It just uses a combination of Quick Attack and Thundershock to fake it. In Sinners, this falsification of records is one of the reasons Ash is in prison.
