I'm going to be brutally honest here. When I first read the summary, I was thinking, "Oh, God... yet another one of these 'dream scape' things. *rolls eyes*" But, seeing as I was in the mood for some Saiyuki smut and I've already read the really GOOD ones to death and back, I decided to take a chance on yours.
I am so incredibly happy that I did.
The plot summary may not be original sounding, but the story itself is perhaps one of the most original SanzoxGojyo pieces out there. And that's really saying something considering this pairing isn't even my third choice for prefered boyxboy lovin'. What I think I love most is this fact; neither of them, in this life time, have any real love for men. They don't really have any secret longing for boyxboy action. Their past lives did, which is influencing this. I'm really, REALLY hoping you play up on this fact a little further. The sex scene did such a fantastic job of using this... I guess, unfamiliarity/uncertainty of gay sex. It was perfect and refreshingly new in a fandom that's gone completely yaoi.
The second part I adored is the fact that Sanzo IS a virgin. It makes perfect sense for him to be one, considering his background. Yes, he breaks every other rule ever created by Buddha, but sleeping with someone (even if it's a one night stand) can be messy and Sanzo doesn't do messy. The way you described him kissing as inexperienced and clumsy made my little Sanzo Love Meter go into overload. It was adorable and it was perfect and... It was greatly loved.
Now, my next biggest joy was in how perfectly written this was. No spelling or grammar mistakes to make me cringe. No ooc in the LEAST. A unique take on a cliched plot. You've got it all, honey! I can't stress enough how incredibly hot this was to discover!

I absolutely love this, the imagery and plot line is fantastic <3 I can't wait for more from you, I think this has suckered me in to being a 5x3 fan lol

I like this story...please keep it going now that you have us on a cliffhanger! The idea of the cursed spring is a good one and although I want to continue to see what happens with Gojyo and Sanzo.. I also am dying to know what Hakkai dreamed about. Thanks for the good story!
