I really like this story so far. I can't wait to see how it plays out and how Hakkai learns to come to terms with himself and what happened. No matter what he has to get past thinking he was culpable in any way before he can become close to whole again.

I'm always nervouse to give any sort of critisism because I don't want to risk sounding insulting. I love your story, I wouldn't even bother reviewing it if I wasn't looking forward to reading more. The only thing that gives me pause is that Hakkia seems sure that he's going to be able to forgive this horrible betreyal and Gojyo seems sure that he's going to be forgiven.
I personally find it hard to believe that anyong would in Hakkai's situation would be prepared to even think of forgiving such a thing especially so soon after it's happened. It feels like it's deminishing the seriouseness of the crime. That's just my opinion and for all I know you have a perfectly good reason for setting up the characters the way you have. Otherwise the stories great so far and I can't wait for more. It was just that one detail that was nagging at me.
