I just read your "101 ways to Annoy Death Note characters" and loved it. So I know you can write humor...but now I find you can write drama, too! This is beautiful! I have read chapter 1 of this a while ago before it got updated, I believe. It was intriguing and remained in my head. I am happy now to be able to read more of it.

I LOVE LOVE that you are a Death Note and Loveless fan. Me, too. Currently I am diving into Death Note, but I have written a couple of Loveless fanfics and love that series a ton, too. I plan to read more of your fanfiction because of our similar anime tastes. :)

Anyway, I just wanted to say, this is lovely. I love the metaphor of Soubi as the butterfly, that is an interesting concept. Usually people seem to do the Soubi hates butterflies thing.

I can't wait to see Ritsuka come into the picture. Onwards I read!

CHapter 2 review:

*squeal* Ritsuka is so adorable! Soubi and little!Ritsuka are so frikking adorable! I lovelovelove them! OMG!

Okay, sorry. Hd to have a crazy moment there. I really love how you portray Ritsuka's undisturbed, unstoppable dedication and love for Seimei. It is amazing, and it is in the books, and you show is here wonderfully. This chapter is an amazing study of RItsuka's psychology. You have taken the 12-year old Ritsuka we know, and transformed him into this beautiful little boy whom I feel we also know. Excellent job making Ritsuka in character.

The image of Soubi with BELOVED in bandaids is hilarious. I also love the detail of RItsuka having learned nursing skills from watching Seimei heal him. His insistence that Soubi sleep is cute and appropriately childish.

This fic is so awesome. I will keep reading.

Mixing your own black can be hard! I just mixed my own black today in my painting class though, actually. Yellow, blue, and...hmm, it wasn't red, though red is the other primary color.

Anyway!

I love how you have Kio in here. Sometimes the way fanfics portray Kio's attachment to Soubi bugs me. But here, it does not bug me. I feel sad for Soubi and happy that Kio is such a good friend. Also I think it is cute to think of a younger Kio and Soubi.

I love how you have Soubi being a romantic who can be distracted by a sunset, and how he so dedicatedly paints Ritsuka. Wonderful.

You have me hooked.

Chapter Four (? the one with Seimei and Ritsuka) review:

I love Seimei's sweet side. It's adorable. Ritsuka's playing with the fireflies is a captivating image. I really love the poetic language you use in describing so many things. Also, Ritsuka's feeling lost and forgetting, and wanting Seimei's protection...is very sweet and sad at the same time. Poignant.

I am glad RItsuka talked to Seimei about Soubi, because that seems important to me. I wonder what Seimei will do as a result? Poor Soubi, getting only Seimei's dark side.

I hope there will be more of this fic? You hinted at it, and pairings, so...I shall bookmark this and keep an eye out.

Chapter One: Love the description, utterly painful but....beautiful.

OMG! Chapter Two...tear jerker...I kept seeing little Ritsuka demanding he help, with those big round eyes. That tension if Seimei was going to come in and Soubi was going to get in trouble for it. So many emotions and it...was just good. Nice grammer, you keep your paragraphs organized and your train of thought flowing. Good Luck with the next chapter!

Ohh very well done, one of the more interesting Loveless fanfictions I've read..I'll be checking for the next one so keep up the good work.
