First off, good story. I like the fact that you are branching off from the original and taking it to the next level. Though I noticed that the original had been taken down. I think you should leave it posted. I was a good stand alone piece of work.

Now onto specific comments for this chapter. Content and subject matter wise, I though it was good. The direction you are taking is a quality one. From a technical standpoint, I thought it could use a little work. The grammar (which you yourself acknowledged at the end of the chapter) was a little off. But that is something that will correct itself over time as you continue to write. Just one of those things that comes with time and practice. So no big deal there. Perhaps asking someone to act as an editor or beta reader would be helpful. I have found that helps me a lot when I write. Just a suggestion.

To sum it up, I thought the story was good and I am looking forward to the next chapter.

Do you want to know how much I was looking forward to reading this? Everyday since you posted Tastes (or since i found it... the day I reviewed) I have come on to this site, when normally I check it only a few times a month. For the first few days, I checked it more than once.
I'm glad you decided to do chapters... if you didn't post this, soon I was planning to review again to suggest that, so I could get it faster XD
Did you take down the original? You should definitely keep it. It is amazing in it's own right.
