I don't know where I have been to miss these chapters you have posted, but what you have written about the maturing relationships among the ikkou is tender and compassionate. Your insight into their thoughts and reactions to this grave situation is well thought out and presented, and your prose is hauntingly beautiful. I was struck by the descriptive phrases "spraying their hot spends mixed together onto their hard bellies" and "only a lifetime of need and a hunger darker than the night outside their cabin" among others. I can't remember the last time I read something where the author used (and used correctly) 'coda' and 'moor'. Keep up the good work and please favour us with more of this wonderful story.
