1st of all, it really isn't that OOC for Eiri to be that way. Think about how he felt all those years, in therapy, trying to get over killing Kitazawa and the other 2, and the sexual assault.
2ndly, it is a good fic, and I like the end, Shuichi didn't give in the 1st time Eiri tried to kiss him, he held back, and that is not what Shuichi would have done before.
So, as you can see, like most authors, you shouldn't critique yourself.
