i rather liked this chapter although i felt dirty after being aroused by a myako (sp). the back story of there life and stuff was nice. and a question that has been bugging me for a while, how where flanery and blaziken able to communicate? i thought slash and gardevoir could because of the bond becasue she i a psychic pokemon. but i guess sense cacnia was able to form a bond then any pokemon can. so i guess i answered my own question. anyway cant wait to read the next chapter and the Christmas oneshot whenever they come out.

Forgive me for barging in on the review-party, all, but I appear to have been directed here by a certain discussion that came about several months ago. In the interests of improving all of our talents as artists, might I suggest that you all keep a few points in mind:

1) True criticism, offered in the spirit of encouragement, support, and the overall improvement of writing itself as an art, is never to be ignored, deleted, banished, or discredited. Take it, absorb it, use it. Your work will only improve in the end, as will our art as a whole.

2) An artist who responds to criticism with anger is not to be honoured. If you have written a piece you wish to share with the world, if you post it where anyone in the world can see it, then you knowingly accept responsibility for your work. Obviously, there are no grades to be obtained, no money to be made here, but Your integrity as an artist is your responsibility. If you expected to receive nothing but praise for your work in this big, wide world, then I'm afraid you'll always be disappointed. (personally, I'm surprised I haven't gotten any of these incendiary reviews that have been going around. If any of you are feeling particularly vindictive, you can go ahead and leave me a scathing review for my stories over at ffnet (the non-Aff one). I've actually been a little disappointed to get no criticism because there is no way for me to improve if I don't know what I'm doing wrong - and I can assure you, I AM doing something wrong. NO AUTHOR is absolutely perfect...sorry to disillusion any of you)

3) The discussions that I have seen crop up over things like this (anyone read a story over on ffnet called "Shego's Ultimate Plan"?), while extremely entertaining, are equally exhausting due to the fact that they inevitably devolve into a pissing match of I'm-right-and-You're-wrong. Author, accept that there may be some things you still need to learn about writing; Reader, accept the fact that the author might not be willing to listen to anyone but yes-men. Now, let's move on and try to enjoy reading a story that's as well written as its author is capable.

Thank you,

Well...he's still dying but...for some reason I don't think you'll let this character die. I hope i'm right. Sorry for my last review but with my life going the way it is and this being my favorite story. It would relly suck if he died to say the least.

Sup Slash. A couple of thoughts were mulling about in my head as I lay in bed not sleeping (lol mondays).

Since Psymakio is, like, you know, a girl and stuff, and presumably of reproductive age, is she afflicted with any sort of monthly bodily happenings? Not necessarily BLEEDING FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT AND NOT DYING, but perhaps mood swings, or anything of the sort? A Gardevoir with PMS might be somewhat of an interesting read.

Also, Graveler, as we know, evolves by trading the Pokemon to another player. Obviously the entire evolving-by-trading idea was a clever ploy by Nintendo to force kids to socialize and convince their friends to buy the games too so they can make more money, but how are you going to evolve Graveler, if at all? If you scratch the entire trading idea and make him evolve just like he did the first time, I'd understand, because trading seemed more of a game mechanic than a story mechanic, anyway. And besides, I don't think Slash would trade away a member of his team.

Same deal with Growlithe and evolving via fire stone. I'm pretty sure that much was done in the anime (lol i no rite) by the trainer holding the stone nearby the Pokemon. Stone glows, Pokemon glows, EVOLUTION. Seems doable.

I've always thought the Shadow was Jirachi ever since Slash was tricked into his limited lifespan. The word "wish" was thrown around a bit, and we all know that Jirachi is the wish-granting Pokemon :P

Plus, the idea of everyone's Jesus actually being evil/controlled would be an excellent way to send Slash/Psymakio further into the pits of damnation (in the Jirachian's eyes) if they ever have to/are seen confronting Jirachi.

Oh, and I realized that the two at the end were Mew/Mewtwo, mostly because I love stories that involve them. I've heard them described in so many different ways, that I can usually pick them out of a crowd of words by the simplest of clues.

Plus, Janus helped clue me in that Mewtwo would actually have a role in the Sinner's universe, but whatever.

Wow, I totally forgot to actually review.

Loved the Chapter, Slash. Wasn't TOO late, but you still deserve a kick to the shins.

Chapter 25 out this month? I won't hold my breath...

Just kidding. It'll be out when it's out, right?

Now if the Shadow is Jirachi, that'd be interesting, and it'd make most of the people in Hoenn demon-worshippers. I thought he would come in as the Greater One from chapter 23. That would be so poetically ironic if Jirachi was able to undo Slash's curse; sparing a blasphemer from death.

Also, Sinners fanart! An hour well spent, if I do say so myself:

@ Slash: Actually, I think I'd have perferred it that way. Not entirely to the extent of the first draft, just something slightly less...psychotic. Would've been a lot darker and tragic, and would have followed the original description in the livejournal ("During the night, however, Slash is assaulted by the obsession-mad Miyako and dragged through her idea of paradise---and Psymakio can do nothing but watch."). Muahahahaha...

@ Hallation: I doubt it's Deoxys. Deoxys is more of an extraterrestrial than a Great one, in my opinion. Giratina is the ruler of the "space between spaces" (i.e. torn world/mirror world/void, etc), so I don't think that's the one either. Personally, I'm leaning more towards Darkrai. I think I recall Slash making a reference to the in-game location of Darkrai in either one of the previous chapters or a teaser e-mail.

But then again, this is Slash's world. He decides whether or not to follow game canon. Hell, it could be a gigantic shadow-rabbit for all he cares. I think that it may not be a poke'mon at all, but I've pretty much stopped trying to guess. :P

@ jperric: Cool. I really wish I was a decent artist. I'd probably make something (like a deranged Miyako with a bloody sword, having just stabbed Angel)

I'm fairly certain The Shadow will not be a Pokemon at all.
Giratina would be the closest appropriation, but that would mean The Shadow is an outsider to this existence, when Slash has clearly stated it to be an incarnation of a fundamental grounding of reality: the form of destruction, that is.

Well, no, he has had gods and incarnates describe it as unnatural and disturbing, so it isn't Umbrae Incarna; but it may be the demiurge of Dark Pokemon anyway since that was implied through flashbacks. But if destruction and consumption isn't a founding of reality and an alien concept, than fuckall reality sucks.

(Of course, Giratina could just be Destruction Incarnate and have been outside of the universe (it DID have its origin in Arceus like it's two "brothers"); and/or simply unknown to the eternal Gods.)

Also Giratina's not a Dark pokermenz :U
