Was that the plot mail that got sent out? It sounds really weird. I don't want too spoil anything by saying too much about it. The person who wrote too slash I wander who it was?

GenoLiger---I currently have no idea what the oneshot's plot will be, but I promise that it'll end up being very cutesy, heh.
Xain---I just save each chapter as a separate file, and then add up the words like that.
Arc 1 has about 83195 words.
Arc 2 has about 34664 words currently.
Thus, the approximate total is currently 117859 words.
And yes, Psychics are vulnerable to Ghost-type attacks (and Dark, and Bug). Psychic attacks are neutral against Ghosts, though---many people did not realize this for some time, because the original three ghosts were all part Poison and thus x2 vulnerable.
And don't try to calculate levels for anyone in Sinners---you'll never get it right. I barely ever mention levels in the story, and I do not keep track of them in my notes (I just track movelists and such, which also are not necessarily canon). All Pokemon in Sinners are as strong or weak as the plot needs them to be, heh.
For example, while a good Ice-type Pokemon could thrash Rayquaza in the games, in Sinners he is a god (or so close to it that it makes little difference), and thus effectively invulnerable (except to others like him).
Just suspend your calculations and go with the flow...or else you will go crazy trying to figure the unfigurable out, heh.
GenoLiger---It has nothing to do with Sinners. It has everything to do with Sinners.
The door to the truth may still be locked, but the key has been revealed.
That is all I will say on the matter.
Incidentally, if anyone has not yet signed up on the mailing list and would like to do so, just e-mail me at slashfirestorm@inbox.com. I will send the most recent plotmail to any new sign-ups.

CrazyIvan---130000 words per chapter? That's muchos words. Do you have a different chapter style? Like, do your chapters have multiple parts, or are they just gigantic?
The race for the Pearls (and later, to find the King) is the main goal of the quest for hero and villain alike, although not all is as it appears. In the long term, it is not power that is the main theme of Sinners...and not love, even...it is renewal. While this may not make sense this early in the story (as little of it has been mentioned so far), it will become the central focus of the story later.
In the Sinners universe, most of the legendary Pokemon are gods...or so close to them that it makes no difference. Rayquaza could not be defeated by mortal hands...of course, Kiako's unusual nature throws a bit of madness into that statement, heh.
And don't worry: when I talk about crummy fics on this site, I mean the HORRIBLE ones. I'm talking about the ones that are a single paragraph of terribly-written PWP that wouldn't arouse a sex offender, or the ones that mangle the language so badly that it makes me physically ill (I can understand those with authors with different first languages, but not the ones that look like they were written by eight year olds). And sadly, they are around, and in damn near every section. The Inverse Quality principle states that, since more popular subjects generate more fic writers, they will also receive a larger percentage of such shit-writing.
There is a big difference between mediocre fics, which are readable, and the mangled monstrosities that haunt the corners of the popular subjects.
Proximity Alert---If I hadn't lost my internet connection the day that I finished 19, it would have been much shorter and much less interesting, I think. Ripping the chapter open and going back to town on it made for my personal favorite chapter yet.
I don't know if there will be chapters as long as 19 anytime soon---and even if there are, they'll likely be rare. They take a long time to write and proof, heh.

From the way you have been putting chapters out. I'm guessing we can expect a chapter a month?

GenoLiger---If all goes well, chapter 20 will be out this month. I'll have a Valentine's oneshot next month, followed by (hopefully) chapter 21 by the end of February.
Of course, I'm famous for failing to meet my deadlines, lol.

Damn. Long chapter indeed. Took almost an hour to read. That was an amazing battle. You write them pretty well.
