Mikami is a big bowl of CRAZY. Seriously, what the hell?! You think he would've gotten it the first 2 times L beat his sorry ass... So I'm assuming it's Mikami's fault Nate found out Light and L were together. Roses were froooommm.... I wanna say L!!! But we'll see!

Okay so I re-read the chapter and I still just wanna freakin snap Near's f'in chicken neck... Why wouldn't Light just tell L that Near's making him do it?! Hrmm...

Well now. This is an interesting twist.
While I do not claim to be particularly eager for L and Raito to fight [XD]... You've pulled this off wonderfully. I like, very much, the fact that L KNOWS why Raito is doing what he's doing already... and the fact that Raito didn't give in, and stuck with his story, however lame.
Eagerly awaiting the next chapter, as always.

Ah! Poor Aizawa... I'm used to being in a generally open-minded area, so... I occasionally forget homophobia and hate-crimes until the news or some person's comment startles me back to reality. Hate-crimes are such senseless, stupid things.

Also: "...he and L could move to Spain or New Zealand or somewhere ridiculous like that." *laughs* Possibly Madrid...? *grins* Or in the area of NZ you live in? That'd be cute, though. Nice scenery for L to paint, I hear.

*read the brick-through-window scene* Omg... Poor Raito! I'm fearing this has something to do with Near, too...! Dangerous. *read a few more paragraphs* Bad Near!!! *worries what he'd ask Raito to do* I'm guessing it's to do with making L go to Nate's gallery.

*finishes chapter, rests chin on arms thoughtfully* ... I think that numbed my mind! I was really angry at Raito for being that stupid and going along with the blackmail, and them getting into a fight over it with Raito punching him at being called weak really does sound like them...! I can tell this chapter is definitely one I'll be thinking over in different parts for the rest of the week. Also, the irony of the fact that it was probably the puzzle ring that drew blood on L's cheek makes me wince! I wonder if Raito will keep it-- I think it'd break something in him to take it off. I also wonder if L will go detective!L on Raito and read the paper, find the connection to Raito and put some pieces together.

And I wonder if Nate will survive this story! I can sort of imagine an obituary note like, "Well-renowned art gallery owner Nate Rivers found dead today in his own gallery, apparently due to a lollipop shoved forcefully into his throat... Luckily, it was only an emergency flavor, and was not missed."

I also wonder if L has a camera in the lift and could see Raito crying. That might help. Bad Raito!!! When life hands you blackmail, you go out and you beat that person senseless in a semi-psychotic fashion so they never try it again! Overkill works! Maybe not. This is rambling because I'm very tired but wanted to read this before sleeping! Also also... Awww, the more I think about L the more sad I get and the more I want to kick Raito in his pretty head. Go go writing mode, Hella! You can do it! *cheers for you* Anyway, muchly enjoyed this, and the wanting-to-beat-up-Raito-and-Nate will probably only get stronger the more I ponder, and when I reread this while not half-awake and fuzzy-headed.

Wow. I'm even more intrigued with your story now than when I first started reading it.

Well, maybe not but it has once again piqued my interest. Nice little twist. I feel sad that what happened to Aizawa actually happens to people in this day and age. It's quite sad, really. People can be so close-minded. Raito is trying to save his career and reputation but those things are meaningless if love is no longer in the picture.

Anyway, I really want to stab Ne- Nate with a fork or another very blunt object hat will cause much pain for putting L and Raito through this. I can't wait to see what happens next. L is way too stubborn to let Raito go like that. XD.

oh god! this is so good!!! so may twists and turns -- i cant wait to see what nate's gunna have him do!! XD and poor L-- when he got all pissed i was like WHOA!! it was totally out of character and i loved every second of it-- i couldnt tear my eyes away from the screen, even if my whole house was burning down around me! Well, oh my goodness! I'm so sorry I haven't reviewed. I hadn't realized I'd missed so many updates! Fabulous! The make-up sex was hot! (And I caught the Battle Royale cameo, by the way *wink*) And I adored that Light took L to the zoo! And the "messenger of god" scene was great and- and THE CANDY UNDERWEAR!!!! You do write comedy oh so well.

Nate. That little shit. God, that last scene broke my heart. Good on L for calling him a coward and pathetic. I understand Raito's reasoning, I really do. But, man! Grrrrr. If I could just get my hands around that little albino's scrawny neck...

I am just dying for the next chapter! I loved the recent ones! Great job and looking forward to more!
