Update please, I really like your story!

lol, Raito is an angel, judging the deeds of men? I hope not... not Kira, anyway! XD It seems he's drifted totally into love with L now, he seems to have no more doubts about it and he's actually being extraordinarily nice and sweet! Lucky L - shame about the driving thing, though, I guess this L doesn't have the same skill set he does in the manga. Looking forward to the next one :)

Your story is awesome. I cant wait for the next chapter.

*started reading this half an hour before work while wolfing down food* Omg-- I shouldn't read this while eating!!! I read the part where the keys sailed past a blandly staring L while I was drinking, and nearly choked myself laughing!

"He gnawed on his thumb, wide eyes sweeping over the facts before flicking up to study the creature itself, occasionally for half-hour stretches that had Raito shifting and wishing he’d worn sneakers. He seemed incredibly fascinated."

I can so picture that being L's reaction to a zoo!!! Him just staring in total absorption at some random zoo animal that stares just as passively back. My mental image was L crouched down in front of an Orangutan with it mimicking his pose. Drawing that would actually make me do a background! Hmmm... Er, no, I need to finish reading and work!

I'm guessing the Kira ref is the "judge the deeds of men" bit? Did L do bad things in the past in this he feels he needs forgiveness/ judgment for? *very curious* Or maybe just because of L's generally freaky nature... or just that since having Raito, L's started getting out more, living, which could be seen as Raito being a message from a deity to change.

The fact that L has a driver's license if he's that bad is terrifying! I feel much empathy for the poor driving instructor. Maybe L just needs to design a car that makes use of buttons instead of pedals, so he wouldn't need to un-crouch. Alas, his genius goes to solving crime (in canon) or painting (here), not to making genius machines like Watari.

Anyway, enjoyed the filler, but am looking forward to the next arc!

that last chapter made me laugh. L & Raito are so cute together. <3

But L can pilot a helicopter on intuition alone. Why can't this L drive a car? I smiled through the whole chapter though. That's some good fluff!

Wonderful job. Even if it is just a "filler" chapter... it's still very interesting and a pleasure to read.
I really liked the mental image of the instructor trying to get L to sit correctly in the car. <3

THAT WAS FREAKING ADORABLE!!! I know how L feels I sit like him on a constant basis and I still want to put at least one foot up on the seat while I drive. My instructor was also clutching her seat belt the first time I took my driving test.But I finally passed. in pouring rain. With one mirror missing off the side of the car. But good work on this chapter I am very much enjoying this fic and it's making me want to paint something. Oh and if you like painting stories I have a manga for you. Go look up My Cat Loki. It's adorable and the cat in it makes me think of L a bit and Raito as the artist instead. But yeah check it out and keep up your awesome writing. Love ya Hella!

Filler yes, but a cute chapter.

Short but worth it, very hot.
