Oh no, this worked out great. Perfect introduction to a new phase of the tale. Good work, and great characterization again! ^^ I can't tell you how pleased I am that it's not over, really, lol.

Other than to dryly point out that my name is rather ironic at this point, it's 5am and my mind is broken (heh, that's the way I finished the manga too? :P) so this is just in place to say "I'm coming back, and I'm bringing a wall of text" ... once I get some sleep << >>

For some insane reason I liked Mello in this. Normally I can't stand the little twerp and Near makes me want to hit him with a rubber bat that's not made of rubber but is instead made up of a giant demon monster that will eat his soul and then devour his still twitching corpse.

But yeah, good to see it's up so quickly! I like that Matt is the voice of reason and i absolutely LOVED his analogy of Mello suddenly being the main character and all that - it made me want to copy/paste it to read later to make me laugh. Look forward to more!

YAY!!! I'm so glad you're writing a sequel to Goodnight Moon, and with Mello and Matt in it to boot! This is the ultimate. I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter. :D

Oh wonderful! I'm so glad you made the sequel. I loved Goodnight Moon and didn't want it to end just yet. Not that I'm a lustful horndog or anything (well, maybe just a bit), can we expect any more LxLight scenes? Whatever your plan, I can't wait to read more!
