You make me feel guilty for not having reviewed! In fact, I hadn't even noticed that you'd added these two chapters! My deepest and most sincerest apologies. I've been... busy this past month, computer access has been rather limited, and Twi got me completely addicted to the entire SessInu scene, and she's near blackmailing me into writing her a smutastic multi-chap because she hated the manga ending.

But who doesn't loathe Kagome?

Anyways... I should have to start working on finishing that phase of Freedom, and then I'll start working on my Death Note vampire AU. I'm excited, for some reason, I'm on a vampire fanfiction spree. O_o Odd isn't it? Maybe I'll write a Bleach one... Twi's been bugging me about that too... but she's an awesome Twilight series author, so I'll give her credit for that. Plus, her characters are fun. :D

So, I loved it. And, OH MY GOD. Yay! Aibur! Yay they're not dead! Honestly, I would have jumped in there and gone on a kicking-butt spree to save L! Light could um... I'd steal his Death Note at some point and burn it. Yeah, yeah, I'm a pyro. BURNING THINGS IS FROM.

Heck, this chapter wasn't just short... it was RIDICULOUSLY SHORT. LOL.

I must say, I kind of enjoyed the idea of Watari and Sayu playing a rather important role in the story although all that talk about how much Sayu loved Raito was making me snicker just a little (Ok ok, it's SWEET but still quite funny).

I agree with you, Raito getting shot kind of makes me cheer.
I can just imagine the power scale tipping and L gaining back a bit of his energy. :D
And now he can torture Raito on a more even playing ground. hahahahhaa.

"Hah!" Was my initial reaction to Light getting shot. It amused me.
I say he had it coming. Maybe it'll do him some good. All though, I doubt it.

Ooo, I love when stories update! I usually don't review because well.. I don't know what to say. I haven't been reading the story for too long, but it's a great story, and I love it. I eagerly await and new chapter ^_^

Hey Doumi long time no see. Awesome chapter this tiem around even though it was a bit on the short side short can be just as good as long ones. Yikes now they're both injured whatever will they do now?......ok so yeah I have a confession to make I was forced to scrap the drawing I had previously started because my cat knocked my soda all over it so I have decided to paint you something instead. I've gotten more into painting lately(Hellagoddess's fault) , so I've discovered I'm quite enjoying putting things to canvas instead of paper. I'm not sure when I'll have it done but i'll make it somehting good. Well once again great chapter and see you next one.

I have to tell you, when I read "moving in an oddly loping way" I threw my head back and laughed louder than I have in months, the image of Ken-ichi Matsuyama running towards the airplane in the "L, Change the World" trailer instantly coming to mind! Yes, that was a cruel cliffhanger. Aiber, huh? I lways liked him. I wonder if Wedy will be close by in future chapters. *wink*

I absolutely loved that little moment when L and Light meet eachother's eyes in the rearview mirror of the taxi. It seemed so, I don't know, intimate. And comical. I quiet sort of dry humor shared between the two. Almost like that scene in "The Incredibles" (I'm a dork, shoot me) when Flash's teacher is accusing him of putting a tack on his chair to Flash's mom and there's this sort of...long-suffering look that she takes on adn Flash is just trying not to laugh. Defeatist, almost--on L's part; but at the same time, very intimate.

And, yes, I punched the air in victory when Light got shot. I thoroughly enjoyed that too. You write action very well, by the way. Fast paced, but not so quick that you don't know what's going on. Glass exploding, bullets, L lope-running...

Can't wait for more!

The Winchester Mad Bombings as well as how L ended up defeating three famous detectives and something about WW3 (???) was definatly in another note and I was angsting on how they DIDN'T make a book out of this....so many death note plot holes about L that it isn't even funny....it's frustrating as hell.

Still good chapter; it would be funny if Kira found out about L's name since the death note doesn't work on him anymore XD Oh and if L ended up joining Kira it would be under strange cirumstances......really odd ones.

I'm embrassed about the artwork; it wasn't no big deal since I'm sasuke emo like out lately from overwork. I'm reading this and shades of myst as well...*Really like both stories* I really wanted to do something with near but I haven't drawn him before....

New reader in the house!!!

I was reading this and an image popped into my head, with a scenario that ran
amuck until I had to mention it.

I don't know if anyone has ever wrote this, I DO doubt it, BUT have you ever entertained the notion of doing a story with Sayu & Near, with a reluctant
friendship developing between them.

I'm really tempted into putting out a challenge to the authors and see if they can
do a story where an older Near is Head of NPA [?] & Sayu becomes an officer in
a Japan Division, following her father's footsteps. Then, a case suddenly has
them working together.

I could go on & on, but it would be up to the authors to make a plausible plot.

What do you think?
