I nearly fell out of my chair laughing when i read your author's note thanking "The Source" and I. I'm still debating the notion of actually telling said "Source" about your AN. It would do massive, wretchedly wondrous things to his ego, and I'm not sure if I could bear it. "The Source" hath wiggled the idea of 'sushi dinner' in front of me nose like cheese to a mouse, so I'm just about off to go to his house for the, er, night.

...Oh, hush. It's sushi and therefore worth it.

I nearly squeed when I read Kira ordering from a Korean joint. KIMCHI FOR THE MASSES!!!!

"It's too bad how everyone you love seems to die." Ah, me. My heart broke when I read that. Remember when I wrote to you about how you made Watari human for me, that you wrote him with flaws and hesitation and now he has a soul? Well, that one single line and L's reaction to it suddenly gave L a soul to me. He's real now, and not just a fun idea. Even in the canon, I loved L because he was a fun idea; but unlike the way I feel about Matt, L was never really all that relatable--despite his tendancies rubbing off on me. Putting his genius mind, carefully controlled emotions, and numerous names and identaties aside, that Kira's cruel, provoking statement actually drove home and caused him to be angry, and his admission for more than respecting Misora as a detective, but also respecting, and even caring for, Misora as a human being, was absolutely wonderful.

There's a song I think of whenever I read your chapters or think of your story, and its called "Love Me Dead". It's fairly new, and I cannot remember the band's name, but for Kira and L's relationship, I think its wonderously perfect. That juxt-supposition between sexual obsession and full out misery is awesome. (Gawd, I hope that didn't just make me sound like nutjob.) But really.

And there's more praising, i assure, you. But i'll email it to you at a later time.

Love the update, adore the length, and I am on the edge of my seat for the next chapter!

Wow, aah!, that was an amazing chapter!! The way you write them seems so spot-on and their dialogue and interactions are so interesting. -And not only are your fight scenes outstanding, but the added fight!sex is ugh- Love. I really thought L was going to let Light (err, Kira) top- which I think would be interesting to see how that turned out.

I can't wait for the next chapter!! <333

YES! "Goodnight moon" and "Tear you apart" were so good, I read them despite my seme-Light bias. I'm totally chuffed at the idea of some kiraxL lemon being thrown in the mix.

Loving this so far. Sorry I didn't review when I finished reading "goodnight moon" - it was awesome, and I just went straight on into reading this, I couldn't stop myself long enough to write a damn thing.

Keep writing, so we can keep reading. :)

sorry that you are feeling crappy; I hate when I get sick myself (oh man I cannot believe it's april...)

I hated near at first too but I grew to like him >w< I loved Matt/Mello but Mello was sometimes....like me and ran with emotions to a drama like state (oh boy....I used to get pissed off like that.) I read the BB murder cases and I am trying to buy the book.....the whole story shocked the heck out of me.

but this part with L's mind and thoughts was pretty spiffy. I like his ideas of what Kira is and the emotions he has for the man. Ah but man....what is Kira planning?

Personally I love any pairing you would put in this but....papa yagami and Kira would shock me into a heart attack (I heard about this pairing once....just once.) I am hopping Kira and L win at the end and it's not like the manga and it's sudden downfall...*doesn't say any spoilers and coughs* why the hell didn't they put more info on matt dammit.....

Whoa I'm ranting; still I hope you get better and I love this story. I actually read chapters on my breaks at work x.x; random fact: trying to do Near at anime central here in IL with all the goodies >W<

Oooookay. Before I forget, GREAT CHAPTER! I loved that L was having a "sleepless night thinking party" and he covers all bases. It really clarifies where he is in his head. And...I smile and get all soft when I think about Light winning through in Kira's sleep and got really emotionally drawn when Light grabbed L's wrist. It was a very sweet moment.

And then! I had a loooooong conversation with one of the smartest ment I know, coincidentally, my ex-fiancee (dun duhn duhn!), about your fic and ideas and what he thinks would logically happen and...I'm going to email you.

Because, really, I hink our babbles would do better via email too. So, off to yahoo!

Yet another good chapter. Sometimes the short ones are necessary to take a small breather in between.I was actually toying with the notion of writing one of these soon yet I can't quite figure out how I wish to go about it.I don't beleive I would do the wealth of knowledge that seems to burst forth from the series justice if i were to write anyhting death note related and it would come out as nothing more than a massive stream of angst mixed with porn. Oh well I suppose for the time being I shall stick to simply rping it whenever possible....ohh I've just found some strawberry cake..I must go eat it now. I will review you again next chapter and cool picture by the way if you wish to see some of my own death note random art peices my account is

Now that you mention it, the fact that L is a detective and tracks down criminals unrelentlessly may not be because he actually has a strong sense of justice like Light. Are you suggesting that perhaps the real reason as to why L decided to take upon the Kira case is not because he thinks that it is "wrong" for criminals to be dying but rather, it is because a single person has obtained too much power and is actually attempting to create a monarchy? (That and perhaps L was attracted to the fact that someone who equals his intelligence is working against him...?)

Yeah! We get to hear what L thinks! It sounds to me that if Kira won't let Light out then L will leave. Maybe Kira should let Light out and they can switch every now and then to keep L with them. I really hope that L and Light wins. I hate Near, Mello, and Matt, stupid L wannabe's. They should make a name for themselves than to steal L's name and all the hard work that he did. That's just taking credit for what L did, not for what they did. They have no chance of winning with L and Light working together. I hope you do go with my idea and have Light and L go on air and tell the world why Kira's doing this and what he wants. And don't forget to mention having a God of Death on his side. People are probably wondering how he's doing it and saying that a God of Death gave him the powers will win people over to them. Maybe they won't think that he's such a bad guy by doing this because he just wants the world to be in peace.

Woohoo! L! Nice to see his point of view once in a while. Don't apologise for the shortness, as long as you've updated it makes everyone happy! This is all really quite intriguing. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for the moment when Raito tries to judge or do something with the Death Note. I really can't wait. Seriously. See my bitten nails! *waves bloody stumps of fingers, much to your evident horror* SEE THEM?!

The sleepy Raito/Kira was very cute in a if-I-was-awake-right-now-I-would-be-plotting-your-death-but-it's-the-middle-of-the-night-and-I'm-really-mostly-still-half-asleep-so-let's-just-cuddle-a-bit-'kay?-*snuffles* kinda way. Even though it wasn't cuddling PER SE, just touching his wrist, but yeah, I could just really imagine what you wrote (sign of an excellent writer, which you of course are :P )

Loved the picture too :p And In all honestly, I'd have to agree with him! There's absolutely nothing like a nice big piece of cake :D NOTHING!
