Actually, I didn't expect the death note to appear at all, I thought it'd be focused mainly on character development (I still find the way you describe Raito's perspective extremely interesting)

But this has its own merits. 3 death notes? Heck, things are going to be a hell lot more complicated.
(and I wouldn't be surprised if L ended up with one, teehee)

Geebus, that was an amazing chapter. So many things happened, I don't even know where to start.
I find it interesting that you're bringing in characters from the Yotsuba arc, I can only imagine that they will somehow serve a purpose in fueling Raito's sense of justice...? Or perhaps just infuriating him, provoking him in some way as they would somehow equate to Raito's kidnappers...?

I really do love how you bring back the fragments from the past. Reading your explanation was very interesting and I'm glad that I had no been mistaken about anything yet. Raito's grandfather was quite a shock actually. Are you suggesting that that is when Raito's decline into his sociopathic behaviours started? I find the idea of sociopaths very interesting. I actually did some reading on it a while ago and it really makes me shudder. I thought Raito's ability to dismiss the life of a weak animal was also a very significant point in the story. It scared me, how much Raito adheres to the laws of survival - the weak must die? Is that how he sees it?

Gah, I need to stop rambling. I adore this fic to pieces. Please update ASAP!

Awesome chapter. I see you have changed the story line a little. Ryuk didn't trick the Death God King into giving him two so he had to gamble to get the others. Light is also younger in this story it seems. He's 11 right? What grade is he in? I assume he's skipped a bunch of grades. I wonder did Light find Ryuk's Death Note or one of the others. Ilove this story, but I find it all confusing when you jump back and worth in time without tellings us. For example Light has the death note in one scene and then in the next Ryuk is dropping them into the human world. I love the detail you put into this story. I can't wait for Light and L to meet. I wonder if L will be white like Light. 'Perfect'. Can't wait to read more.
