Dark story, Schuldig can be such a bastard in some stories. When he is like that it is hard to like him.

That was a trip through a dark land that I would have to admit scared me. I always assumed that Schuldig's nightmares were about things that had happened to _him_. Now I think that it's the 'voices' in his head from the mundane people around him he has to shut out or go insane himself. Oh, wait, isn't he already? I wonder what his life was like before he went to that place where he was taught to 'open' fully to his powers. He may look back on it as the good old days, if this is what he suffers with now. I also wonder which 'kitten' he is tormenting. I think it's just as likely he will end up reinforcing their dedication to working for Kritiker and helping to rid the world of at least some of the dark beasts. Is it the nature of the crime or the volume of it that causes Schuldig to condemn?

Damn, Phoenix. That was amazing and right on, in a dark and twisted way. Excellent portrayal.
