I just read this story and I think you did a great job with both of them.

Ah...I've been waiting for my favorite authors to write KHR since I got into it! I'm still not sure how I feel about 1880 though...I loved yours, and it's true that Yamamoto is the only one who could logically keep up with Hibari in the present...but still...I don't know, 5980 still ownes my soul

Really nicely done. I think you manage to capture both of their characters really well - most fics change Hibari too much, but you manage to keep him in character and still as a bottom. And Yamamoto too, himself yet sensitive to what Hibari can can deal with. Much enjoyed!

Fantastic. I've never really thought that Yamamoto x Hibari pairing worked, but you definitely changed my mind about that. This story was very, very well written. No strange pauses, no gaps, no ideas left open and exposed. Everything was closed up very nicely, and yet there was enough there to make one wonder what was going to happen during the ten years between them. Again, fantastic oneshot. I hope to read more of your stuff in the future. :)
