Author's Response: True- Kai will have a difficult awakening, but my story, though dark at times evolves around love, so while at times things are bleak, the sun always rises. Riki's "Ancient" persona compliments his "Riki the Dark" personality in that his new "status" will pave the way for all the changes to come. Omaki....what can I say, my mind squirrels wanted to come out and play, so only Omaki would do at this time *smiles*

You know, I've been chewing on that for a while, so I'll have to see, since Aki was 9 then, and nearly two years have passed where my story began. But now that they have returned to Amoi, some of the characters of TR will be a part of the Renaissance, so yes, I'll probably bring Aki and some of the pets into the mix for a scene or two. I was really excited to start with Omaki though.
