That was excellent and a very good twist on the way things are normally done. I normally write my favorite part or line, but the whole thing was brilliant. In fact, I'm off to read it again.

I love this story, it's a very interesting take on what could have been, also; a bit depressing really. It does seem fitting that Raito would be in the shinigami realm, as I'm sure he killed far more people than many of the indolent Shinigamis lol. *Sighs* It makes sense that Kira would want to make L fall in love with him for manipulative purposes; the yaoi actually works in this fic even though normally I can't really picture either of them as being homosexual, as it doesn't feel right; and not only that but there were several indicators in the anime and manga that leads one to believe they're both hetrosexual.

I do like the idea somewhat. It is original albeit somewhat strange. XD
