I'm not sure what it is about your writing - it's something I just can't pinpoint - but, after reading this, I am a fan. There's this palpable tension in your writing that almost makes me not want to breathe in anticipation of what will happen, and a sort of dark, angsty-ness (have to make up words just to describe it!) that keeps me sort of morbidly fascinated. Not to mention that your prose and dialogue are always so crisp, concise, witty, and wonderfully error free.

In all honesty, it's hard for me to believe you don't like Light after reading this (especially since it was from his POV). I felt it was a great interpretation of his character. And, if he was a little OOC, so what? I thought it was perfect.

To tell you the truth, I sort of mourn the end of your stories, simply because I want more. I'm off to read your others (which I may not review - don't want to seem like crazy, stalker reviewer o.O - but am sure to enjoy). I hope to see more of your work soon!

The count down confused me for a second, but in context with the anime it makes TOTAL sense. I like. I like the tension. I like that it's ALWAYS a battle between them. I like that it's complicated between them and un-pretty. It's not too much (with the sap or ooc-ness) but there is enough *need* for it to work. Good balance.

Wow. Just wow. I love the way you described their sex-battles. It was amazing and it really captured Light's anger and frustration. Great job!
