Yes, I see Mello enjoying football. This was really hard for me though *wipes tear* In Britain, football is like a religion. The great Bill Shankley once said that football isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that. He was right. So here I am choosing a team for Mello to support and my whole soul is crying out for it to be my own team. But there's no good reason why Mello would support them. They are miles away from Hampshire and lose games a lot. ;-; I had to make him a Man U fan, just because they win. *walks away dejected*

That's a new thing about the character. yeah, we see him playing football back at Wammy's, but I never thought of him supporting a team and following the results through tv. I liked it. I'm not sure if it was very manly or (as Matt thinks) very gay XD.

Yes, it was nice to finally be writing some of the friendship spark again. It is moving forward nearly to the point of 'It Matters' and I'm part way through the next chapter. Expect more soon. 8D

LOL that's a weird weird fetish, Mello!! really, it reminded me of the typical jokes about Maths-teachers getting aroused talking of cube roots and polynomials XDD But it was very funny.
I loved that thye're finally getting closer, and leaving aside the fear for a while.

{{{{Nine Lives}}}} I'm glad you liked the sweetness, it has been pretty hardcore until now. The trouble is that I've now left the canon and so I'm bouncing off 'It Matters'. They aren't exactly lovey-dovey in that until the incident partway through. It's implied that things like cuddling and saying 'I love you' have never happened before, which means that they can't really happen in this story. :(

Mello is such a git to write in this story. He's so far removed from the Mello I'm used to writing by 'The Mario Clause' that it's hard to grasp him (hence meltdowns on DA). But I'm glad that the bits that finally make it here are working.

I will update soon. I've been working on two one-shots for competitions, plus people keep taking me out because of a tense real life situation. I know where I'm going with this next though. The next chapter will be called 'The Deepest Cut', which might give you clues. :p

Oh but you talk as if it took forever for you to update! Most of authors do it every 15 days or so....

Oh I'm sure I remember Matt saying I love you before the incdent. But it wasn't really a fluffy scene at all LOL
I hope your RL is not being too bad, or at least I hope it's a temporary thing. Oh and one-shots? they'll be public to read?

Mello can't get much sexier than he's now. I feel a bit bad for Matt, who tried to set his rules and all, but Mello couldn't care less ^^U he does whaever he wants anyway. But damn, he's very very hot. And possesive.

Ok, it's a WIP so I don't know if you want reviews on this chapter till is over, but I have to say that I'm very amused at Matt's actions O.o I imagined Mello's face when he said about brushing his hair and couldn't help but laugh at it XD
