Mello sighed. "Go back to volim te, you sarcastic bastard."
hahahahahaha!! *pokes at Mello's masculinity* He is SUCH a girl sometimes~!
Mello's eyebrows shot into his hairline. "Matty, we have a king-sized bed. I've got about three miles of space here to loll apart in, feeling lonely, while you barricade yourself into less than a foot of space right at the end. I might as well be sleeping alone. Has it never occurred to you that being held while you fall asleep might be nice?"
An over dramatic girl. That's what he is.
Anyways~ I can't help but LOL at Matt retreating back to Wammy's after the talks of "I love you" the night previous. And the fact that Mello wants to be hugged in his sleep. (Ooooh he's such an evil bastard. xD) This is an extreme step to find out where Hal's loyalties lie, for sure. But all the more interesting. I love it! DYING for more over here. Lyk srsly.

OK i'm totally sure Matt's just faking all this shit to try to catch Hal betraying Mello. I also think Mello knows, or otherwise he'd be already at Wammy's. But I still don't know about Hal's intentions -_- I don't know if it's me being really slow.

Nine Lives: LOL I hadn't considered it like that, but yes, they do! LOL I've got the giggles now too. I also think it's sweet to see Mello more comfortable in his own skin.

I'm glad it's working for you. :D That last quote was actually Morgie's. I'm writing this one alone, without pinging off things in role-play, but she appeared in chat just as I was writing that scene. I told her that I was struggling getting the precise tone for Mello and pasted in the context. She wrote that out and I nicked it and shoved it into the story. Perfect!

Mello kept on that he was just waiting for Matt to heal. After all the gentle!Mello we kept seeing around the place though, I had my doubts. I'm so glad that he was telling the truth after all! Yay!
Yes, the football and badly bruised ribs one was much worse, but it got turned into sex. I still maintain that the beginning of that was domestic violence, however much they both wanted to transmute it into S&M by the finish. There have been a few grey areas throughout the series. Matt's reaction is confusing. He really does need to be consistent and set some boundaries; but he's not consistent and doesn't want to set boundaries.

No I'm just kidding. ANYWAYS! I was just thinking how badly I needed some more good fanfiction to read since I finished Watari part 2 AND HERE IT IS. And I can't get enough of it~~~!! <3 I wish I could just vacation in your head so I can see where this is going. Now if you excuse me, I have to sit at the edge of my seat and patiently wait for an update.

Waaaa! I've read the four chapters and I'm totally hooked already!
I pity Hal LOL Mello is imposible. i can imagine one of those meetings at Wammy's, everybody discussing if Matt is considered as a "consent adult" LOL it's amusing that everybody's talking about their sex life and they're not embarrased or anything.
So, Mello's pissed cause after all, Near's still number one, getting all the interesting cases for himself? >.< That brat!

I'm already happier with this than I ever was with Watari Pt 2. I think it's because, though I know vaguely where this is going, I don't know exactly, so I'm coming on the journey with you. Plus, Mello and Matt are practically writing themselves, which is always good. *happy dance*
Poor Hal indeed, though I can't see her being quite the stooge that Mello and Matt had in mind when they suggested/supported her getting the position. The woman was a bit of a rebel, in following her own moral code, when she was working for Near, so I can't see her changing much now.
As for the domestic violence, that'll be the bit where Mello dragged him out of bed and threw him up the wall. Ok, I know that smells and looks exactly like foreplay for these pair, but sex wasn't on their minds. Funnily enough, Miyamashi also said, 'what domestic violence?' when I spammed her with a snippet of it.
