ahh, I was wondering why it took so long for Lotor to get the answers about Alfor. Haggar was stalling. What a great deal of plot development in the past few chapters; I can't wait to find out how Allura reacts to the news of her origins. Also it's quite suitable that you have Lotor and Allura refraining from their prior physical relationship; given the recent revelations of who they really are to each other they basically need to redefine their relationship from the bottom up - and that would be very difficult if they fell right back into their same old pattern of having sex all the time.
**off to check out the updates to your site!**

Ah, Haggar bowing and groveling before him, she always did know how to cow tow. And it'll be interesting to see how he and Allura react to the revelation of her background pre-Doom, that'll be an eye-opener for sure. And it'll be interesting to see how he opts to negotiate with Demos. Well, until chapter 62, then. Laters.

ah, you've gotten a lot accomplished with these last few chapters. Zarkon's dead, Lotor's King, and he's about to find out where Allura came from. In regard to the last sentence you were concerned about in Ch. 61, I actually think that last sentence is not particularly necessary. The ending sounds stronger to me if you just leave it at how he wants to be strong and protect her in the best way he knows how: "He didn't know how to safeguard her completely, but Lotor felt threatening and killing people was a good start." It leaves it open for the reader to think about whether that will indeed be a good start. And we can discover in the later chapters how he ends up hurting her with his words...

BTW I forgot to mention this before, and it's in no way related to the reason I enjoy this story so much - but based on the story stats, you first published the story on my Bday (yay). Maybe it's destiny for me to have found and loved this story :)

Hehehe, that was sweet! To be honest, though, when Zarkon started babbling despite himself, I though Lotor had simply gotten Haggar, or another witch, more likely now I think about it, to cast a truth spell on him, but drugs work, too. Hehehehe! I'm guessing Zarkon won't be around after next chapter, since by my count we still have twenty-four to go, and I do hope Lotor set up something to record and or broadcast that little conversation to the public, or at least recorded it for the people of Zabatos and Demos, both of whom I believe are due a really big apology! Well, until chapter 59, then. Laters.

aw man, he's already betrayed his promise to Allura not to tell Zarkon. I'm sure that is NOT going to go over well with her! I don't see any other solution than for Lotor to kill Zarkon during this fight - else Zarkon will likely try to kill/capture Allura anyhow to get back at Lotor. I'm sure none of the other Drules will care much that Zarkon killed Lotor's human mother back in the day...

And now he know, he just needs to get the proof so he believes. And hopefully Zarkon will be kept in the dark until it's too late to do anything about it. I just hope Lotor thinks up a decent cover story for why Allura hasn't been dismissed yet, lest that little detail gets him trouble. Well, until chapter 58, then. Laters.

Oh, and if you're interested, I've started my own Voltron fic, slightly crossed with Cardcaptor Sakura, and the first two chapters are now up at regular FF.net, I use the same name as here so it shouldn't be hard to find. Enjoy!

Yeah, that would kill the mood, wouldn't it? Hopefully once she explains why she didn't tell him sooner, complete with the big revelation of who really killed Adaline, he'll calm down. Yep, it's plotting an coup time! Can't wait to see how it happens in this fic! And of course Zarkon's arrogance is showing again. After all, he doesn't know for a solid fact Corrall is Demos's only heir to the throne, and by all accounts the King of Demos isn't all that much better than him, and so may not actually care what happens to Corrall once she's on Doom, so long as Zarkon keeps his so-called "promises". Well, until chapter 56, then. Laters.

ooh, I wonder if Lotor is going to believe her claim to be Allura right away? I'm already preemptively feeling sympathetic to the princess of Demos - I hope Lotor decides not to destroy them (at least not by cruelly capturing the princess) once he realizes Demos never killed Allura after all, and that Lotor somehow manages the cancel the deal so she doesn't get lured to Doom. Oooo, now that you've told me new chapters are written, I'm really looking forward to the updates of your other stories too!

Lots of drama this chapter; that meddling Zarkon! (Ugh, poor Allura forced to kiss her most hated enemy, that is shiver-inducing). Have I mentioned how much I love this story? Yes, I think I have, but it bears repeating.

In fact, I'm loving this story so much that I got impatient waiting for updates and went to your WordPress link from your homepage and have now gorged myself on more of your literary candy. So now not only do I have updates for Porcelain Dreams to look forward to, but I will be awaiting updates for some of you other stories as well (darn you for writing such compelling stories). I am *especially* enamored with the Skin Trade and Animal Attraction (any plans to add those to additional sites? Titillating stories the both of them -- I certainly am hoping you plan to continue those as well, even if slowly). And as I mentioned in my first review, I have never seen this series, but from what I can tell (based entirely on your stories, since yours are the only Voltron stories I've ever read or am likely to read in the predictable future) the premise of Animal Attraction provides an extremely plausible explanation as to why Lotor would be obsessed with Allura to the degree he apparently is, pursuing her despite repeated rebuffs. (And those were just my two favorites, in addition to Porcelain Dreams of course - I also am quite enjoying a Pregnant Pause (already finished Lusting Effects), Time's Tangent, and more. I really ought not to have discovered your Word Press treasure trove!)

But enough about your other fics, this story still has my rapt attention. Glad to hear you've finished the writing, but that there are still 30(ish) more chapters for me to await. How exciting that the Arusians are putting up a resistance even with their Royal Family lost to them. I can't recall, was Lotor aware/informed as a child from which planet Allura was taken? I certainly hope he was, and perhaps he will let slip that his childhood friend was from Arus (how else is Allura to discover this? I find it extremely unlikely that even if she were taken to Arus with Lotor (for example, if he is sent to quell the rebellion and can't bear to part with her) that any Arusian citizens would recognize her as the adult princess long lost to them...best to hear it accidentally spilled from Lotor's mouth.
