I think you're right! Tezuka comes from a strict family (you can tell that his family prides itself on their male heirs--as you continued the "kuni" tradition in the family), and they would NEVER accept that he loved a man. And, Tezuka just isn't boistrous enough to rebel against them, so he chose to have the future his family wanted, rather than what he wanted.

I LOVED your story! There could definitely be more to this story, but this was very detailed and exceptionally well-written. Bravo! :D
